Embarking on the path of changing yourself and your life, we receive a huge number of different methods and tools for this.
When we see the first results — positive changes in life, we enthusiastically grab onto all the practices and courses offered to us, wanting to improve everything else as well.
But we often forget about the consequences, which can be very serious if we approach this process unwisely.
Transformation is a complex process that affects all our bodies, from the physical to the spiritual.
In this article, we have gathered recommendations on how to protect yourself from its severe consequences.
You will learn how transformation unfolds and what actions will help you ease your state during this period.
Safety precautions during transformation
Before diving into transformation, use the recommendations below:
1. Stick to the principle — one step at a time
Decide what you want to change in yourself and why.
Don’t take on several transformational courses at once just because someone else has already completed them. Don’t look at others.
Everyone comes here to gain their own experience, in their own time and at their own pace.
The principle of “one step at a time” applies here.
There’s no need to rush; start changing yourself only if you can no longer live the old way.
Live, finding joy in the process of life, rather than for the sake of endless transformations.
If you take on working through a serious topic for you, break it down into stages. This will make it easier for you to track results, and you won’t drown in emotions.

2. Finish what you start
If you take on changing something, see it through to the end and put a full stop. Don’t leave this process unfinished.
Otherwise, you will constantly remain in it, not understanding why the same problems keep haunting you.
If for some reason you are forced to interrupt a course, give yourself a promise that you are stopping the transformation process at this stage and will return to it when you are ready.
3. Protect yourself in advance
To protect yourself in advance from the severe consequences of transformation, before starting any course, activation, or working through, say the phrase:
“I ask my Higher Self to guide me through the entire transformation process easily and favorably. And may all changes occur in a way that is harmonious for my physical, emotional, and mental bodies.”

4. Take a pause
Take breaks between transformations to integrate the knowledge gained. Give yourself a breather.
If you take on several transformational courses at the same time, your body receives a heavy load that it may not be able to handle.
The mind will not assimilate the information, and you, accordingly, will not be able to apply it in life.
Moreover, in this way, you open several wounds at once, which can significantly impact your emotional state.

What symptoms define the state of transformation
Let’s highlight the most common types of how transformation unfolds:
Deterioration of well-being
All of our bodies are interconnected. When we change our attitude toward life, we engage all of our bodies.
On the level of spirit, being in the vertical, these changes happen instantly; on the level of thought and energy, they happen a little slower.
Our physical body is inert. Heavy physical matter cannot restructure itself so quickly.
Cells are not able to rapidly change their vibration and start working differently. This takes time.
Therefore, old chronic diseases may flare up. Symptoms of the flu, headache, lethargy, and body aches may appear.
Don’t be afraid of this. Remember that your body needs this to rewrite the information in its cells.
You can learn why diseases flare up during transformation from this material, “About Exacerbation After Working Through Emotional Blocks.”
Unstable Emotional State
During a period of transformation, frequent mood swings occur. You become vulnerable, reacting intensely to external stimuli.
Layers of old, unreleased emotions rise to the surface. Your task is not to dive headfirst into these states, but to wait out this period.
Give your emotions an outlet; don’t lock them away, judging yourself for feeling them again. They have risen to the surface to leave you. Don’t hinder this process.

Appearance of Unpleasant Events in Life
If you are working deeply and for an extended time on a certain topic, it’s possible that events will appear in your life that give you an opportunity to see if your attitude toward similar issues has changed.
You will have a few seconds before reacting in your old way to choose a different behavior, based on a new paradigm or belief.
Stay alert. And before falling into victim mode, thinking, “Why did this happen to me again?”, remember the real reason this situation is here for you.
This is not easy to do, especially if the event is very traumatic. So keep your focus on the result — what you want to change and what you want to achieve.

Working Through Traumatic Situations in Dreams
The least painful type of transformation occurs during sleep. You rewrite problematic situations that don’t require your conscious involvement.
How can you tell that a transformation has occurred during sleep?
- You have dreams that are characterized by a large number of events and actions.
- In your dreams, you see past traumatic situations and your emotional reaction to them. It’s as if you are reliving those events.
- You wake up in a state of physical fatigue, with the feeling that your mind has been working all night.
You may not even remember your dreams after waking up; their purpose is to free you from limiting beliefs and painful reactions to past events.

How to Ease the State of Transformation
Accept Your State
Whatever you are feeling physically and emotionally, accept it. Live through that state.
Turn off your mind, don’t analyze the reasons why you have certain emotions or ailments.
When your state improves, you can return to them if it’s still relevant.
Think about the end goal, about what you will get as a result. How your life will change.
Your main task during this period is to be in a state of an observer and accept with gratitude everything you are going through.
Go through the “Soaring Bird” meditation to activate the state of the observer.
Take care of your body
If you have already started something and feel that your body is aching, giving signals that it’s hard for it, switch to a gentle mode. Take care of your physical body.
This is the most fundamental task in any practice or transformation.
- Don’t overload yourself with work and household chores. Do only what is absolutely necessary, put the rest off for later.
- Get enough sleep.
- Take baths with calming essential oils (peppermint, lemon balm, lavender).
- Drink herbal teas with honey.
Listen to the signals of your body and thank it for the signs through which it tells you what to pay attention to.

Do energy exercises and ground yourself
Energy flows push energy through the entire body, washing away all blocks. Your well-being and mood improve. You feel invigorated.
Do energy exercises in the morning and, if you feel the need, throughout the day.
Don’t forget to ground yourself so you don’t sink too deeply into negative emotions. Grounding balances your state. It reduces emotional vulnerability.
In this article “10 Ways of Energy Grounding Techniques” you will find a grounding method that suits you.
Ask your loved ones to be more attentive to you
When the transformation process starts, we begin to attract situations into our lives related to the theme we are working through. Old unpleasant memories resurface.
Because of this, we become very vulnerable. Any little thing, a sideways glance, a carelessly spoken word can upset or anger us.
Therefore, try not to get drawn into arguments yourself and ask your loved ones to be a little more attentive to you.
Although the Universe often meets us halfway and leads us away from encounters with conflict-prone people.

Ask higher powers to help you get through this state

If physical ailments are overwhelming you, call upon your healing team of angels for help in a speedy recovery.
We hope the recommendations above will help you get through the process of changing yourself more easily.
