Negative emotions: anger, rage, outbursts of aggression. What causes them and how to cope with them

Have you experienced negative emotions such as anger, rage, irritation, or inexplicable aggression in recent months or even years?

Everything seems fine, nothing particularly upsetting is happening, but inside, a causeless irritation begins to build up.

Sometimes this occurs in flashes, like tides: it suddenly washes over you, then after a while it subsides, and the process repeats.

This state throws you off balance, you fall into despair, and it feels as if you are losing control over your emotions.

We will explain what this is connected to and, most importantly, what to do about it in this article.

What is the cause of inexplicable aggression

I have found two explanations for this phenomenon.

1. Accumulated negative emotions demand an outlet

If you listen to yourself, try to understand the events happening, and strive to be aware of your actions, behavior, and thoughts, you have already come to the realization that without accepting yourself entirely, you will not be able to solve the accumulated life problems and gain satisfaction from life.

As soon as you decided to accept and forgive yourself, to get to know your shadow side, your negative emotions and qualities that had been hiding inside all this time began to make themselves known.

Suppressed emotions responded to your call to show themselves. And since you are ready to accept them, they have started to come out.

The more experiences and psychological traumas you have had, the more emotions your body and subconscious mind hold.

And all of this is now ready to surface.

Of course, all shadow aspects carry a gift, and emotions are pearls of wisdom. But that is not what we are discussing today.

2. New Energies Trigger Release from Negative Emotions

In recent years, the process related to the planet’s transition to higher dimensions has intensified. Release from negative emotions is one of the stages of this transition.

Negative emotions vibrate at a lower frequency compared to positive emotions and feelings. Their vibration does not resonate with the frequencies of the fifth dimension.

Therefore, our energy bodies try to free themselves from them.

Hence, uncontrollable aggression, outbursts of rage, anger, wrath, irritability. Moreover, these emotions may not be directly related to you or your past.

The Earth is freeing itself from what does not serve it, from what has accumulated over millennia and been stored in its energy field all this time. And you, as a conductor, let this pass through you.

Why It Is Important to “Let Off Steam”

Let me remind you that emotions cannot be suppressed; you need to give them an outlet. Pretending they don’t exist won’t work.

Imagine a pot of water on the stove — that’s you. The heating water is your emotions. When the water boils, the lid starts to jump.

You hold this lid by an effort of will, that is, you suppress emotions. But sometimes this lid pops off on its own under the pressure of steam, or someone from outside (a child, a loved one, a stranger, or perhaps an external event) opens this lid. And then the steam comes out.

There is such an expression — “to let off steam,” that is, to release emotions. If there is no one around at that moment, the steam dissipates, and you relax.

But if someone “helped” to remove the lid, then all the steam is directed at that person.

And you need to have immense willpower and awareness to restrain yourself at that second and manage to direct this entire flow of emotions into a neutral space.

Many people begin to feel guilty about their aggression shown towards loved ones, children, or parents.

5 ways to release negative emotions

1. Turn negative emotions into gold

Any manifestation of negative emotions hides a gift within itself.

Learn to see it, and then you will not be afraid of another outburst of anger or rage. And the process of releasing and transforming will happen more harmoniously.

Here is what Emmanuel Dagher says about this in his forecast for April 2018:

“When you feel anger or indignation and do not try to ‘get rid’ of these emotions or judge yourself for experiencing them, you can see them as creative energy that simply needs a proper outlet.

Anger and indignation are that creative energy which has not yet found a productive outlet. This energy simply needs your guidance to move in the right direction.

Thus, it is precisely those energies that felt uncomfortable and painful for you in the past that can become energetic gold when you give them a healthy outlet.»

The forecast offers several tips on how you can transform the energies of anger and resentment into the energies of passion, peace, and fulfillment.

2. Ask for help from higher powers

Do not forget that you are never alone. Your helpers — angels, spiritual guides — are always by your side.

Ask the higher powers to dose the release of aggression and other negative emotional manifestations.

Use all the methods you know to explain to your spiritual guides how you want to experience anger, rage, and irritation.

Ask them to show you, in a language you understand, ways to free yourself from destructive emotions, and be attentive so as not to miss the answer.

Read about how to communicate with higher powers so that they understand you correctly in the article Rules for Addressing Higher Powers.

3. Engage in regular physical exercise

Often, on the path of spiritual growth, people forget about their physical body and stop taking proper care of themselves.

If you are overwhelmed by uncontrollable outbursts of anger and aggression, it means it is time to direct attention to your body and turn to it for help.

Find a type of physical exercise that is convenient and suitable for you.

For some, brisk walking or jogging will be more suitable; for others, strength training.

For some, the best way to release pent-up emotions will be dancing, yoga, Pilates, or stretching.

Important! During your practice, focus on physical sensations, keep your goal in mind — why you are doing this, and stay in the present moment.

Some of the aggression will dissipate through your practice. But only if you incorporate it into your daily schedule and perform it not just when anger, rage, or fury have already taken hold of you, but regularly, as a preventive measure.

From my own experience, I can say it took me a long time to start doing fitness or yoga. I motivated myself in various ways. But nothing really changed.

In the end, the most effective motivation for me was precisely releasing excess energy that carries negativity. I didn’t want it to constantly spill over onto my child and loved ones.

4. Protect your resource

When you have no strength, any little thing makes you lose your temper. If you add to this the parallel process of releasing negative emotions, imagine what a storm could erupt.

Therefore, protect your resource. Your resource state is your capital. Do not waste it on trifles and things that are unimportant to you and drain your energy.

Watch where your thoughts and actions are directed, clarify your goals and follow them. Control what you are doing — does this activity lead to your goal, does it make you happy.

If another outburst of anger or irritation occurs, you will be able to use part of your saved resource to ecologically free yourself from negative emotions and not harm your loved ones.

And you won’t have to blame yourself later for showing aggression towards other people.

It’s the same as with money. If you have a financial safety cushion, then in case of unforeseen circumstances, you won’t be stressed running around looking for money, but will use what you have set aside.

5. Realize that the process of releasing negative emotions is necessary for both you and the planet

Perceive the release of negative emotions as one of the stages of fully accepting yourself, returning to yourself. Until you free yourself from them, they will obscure the truth, your true self, from you.

With your help, the planet also frees itself from everything unnecessary that does not serve it or your highest good.

Feel your significance and integral role in this process of liberation.
