Blockage of energy charge in each chakra

Read how the blockage of energy charge manifests in each chakra, and how it affects the areas of your life.

How energy blockage occurs in the chakras

Energy blockage in the first chakra

The first chakra is responsible for survival. We have three basic reflexes. We are all familiar with the three main reactions to a threat: fight, freeze, flight.

This is how the survival instinct works in mammals, insects, in everyone, not just humans.

If there is a threat to life, and you can handle it, a reaction kicks in, for example, “fight”.

Fight — there is an influx of energy, a powerful injection of adrenaline. Absolutely everything in the brain shuts down, the brain cells are de-energized, because all the energy goes into the hands — to strike. The legs are weakened at this moment.

If the reaction is “flight”, you understand that this is a threat, you cannot handle it, then all the energy, the entire system of the human body reconfigures to the “flight” reflex.

The brain is not needed at this moment, the hands are not needed either, all the energy goes into the legs, the task is to run away to save your life.

And there is a third reaction, which is counterfeit, perhaps that’s how you can describe it, it is “freeze”. In insects, this works like this: a bird flies by — the beetles freeze, blend into the environment, they have mimicry reflexes.

We descend into the reptilian brain, to the “freeze” level, and you won’t be noticed. And people, when they find themselves in a situation of a real threat to life (not a mental threat, when mental fears overwhelm) — this is inaction, the body is frozen.

In my dreams, I have had two biggest scares for many years since childhood, and one of them is when you need to run, but your legs give out. This is the freeze story, when you need to act, but you stand still.

There is a very heavy load on the nervous system, on how you perceive everything, you need to run, but you can’t.

I had acquaintances like that who would fall into a stupor in any stressful situation. You need to act, you need to do something, but they are paralyzed, and for a long time. In life, it’s quite difficult with such a person.

This is the first chakra, the survival mode triggers these three instincts.

The “freeze” reaction — this is being de-energized, because when the “flight” reaction or the “fight” reaction occurs, there all your energy from the body gathers down into the first chakra and from there a powerful action comes.

When a powerful impulse comes, the body reacts, but when there is no energy inside, you are de-energized, you freeze, you become numb.

You can get out of a stupor through any action.

If you are constantly in a state of stress, mental pressure, you need to reformat yourself. Not only to launch energy everywhere, but also to learn to spin it up through action at a critical moment.

In this case, physical exercises help a lot. They work bidirectionally, depending on the state. When you have too much energy, physical exercises help you release the charge; when you are de-energized, they, on the contrary, help to launch energy.

In depression, force yourself to start doing at least something, move. When you start moving systematically, methodically, even just waving your arms, due to this, the energy discharges, begins to flow, even if not fully.

Energy Blockage in the Sacral Chakra

The second chakra, the sacral, is about sexuality, femininity, the center of our emotions. Since the sacral chakra has many layers and levels, accordingly, one can be closed or blocked, while another can be open.

Through this chakra, we pick up emotions and transmit emotions, except for love. Love resides in the heart. Lack of emotion, rigidity signals a deficiency of energy.

Energy depletion occurs when you do not experience emotions, when you suppress them. This is where beliefs come in: “a spiritual person should not feel anger” or “a spiritual person should not get angry.” In this way, you suppress yourself, you suppress, and as a result, a block forms in the sacral chakra.

The second facet of this chakra is sexual energy, sexuality, which for many has been locked away since childhood thanks to their parents. Especially for girls, there are many stories: “don’t sit on boys’ laps,” “don’t wear winged eyeliner – they’ll call you a prostitute,” and so on.

In the course “7 Keys of Awareness 2.0,” since we dig quite deep into the sacral chakra there, many stories surface about things people thought weren’t there, but it turns out all these prohibitions are present.

If you cannot rein in your desires, this is an excess of energy in the sacral chakra.

A lack of energy means I don’t want anything, there is no desire. If it concerns sex, add some novelty to the relationship.

There is also a spiritual trap, which is one of the reasons a charge block occurs in the sacral chakra, where we switch from sexual energy to heart energy, and in the future, there will be no sex.

Without sex, we cannot reproduce, we cannot realize many things. Therefore, I am not a supporter of this idea that everything will just get cut off there. The fact that sexual energy and sexual interaction move to another level and most likely evolve is true.

Denser sexual energy becomes higher vibrational, subtler. But that doesn’t stop it from being that very same energy.

Energy Blockage in the Solar Plexus Chakra

There are two different states — excess is heightened anxiety, because there is no action. And the second state is lack of action, when there is not enough impulse there, no energy, manifesting as a depressive state.

The chakra must be balanced without fail, because from the perspective of the chakra’s structure, it is the governing organ.

If the heart redirects energy, being the connecting element, its main function is connection, then the solar plexus acts as the parent to the two lower chakras.

When a child goes through their first developmental crisis at two or three years old, as psychologists say, the solar plexus turns on at that moment. The child gains their sense of self, boundaries are tested, and individuality emerges. At this age, the foundation is laid for what we call identity, uniqueness, plus willpower and self-discipline.

That’s why this is an incredibly important center. It’s needed to be able to control your desires, to understand what you need and what you don’t.

What is required of us in the new reality, in the new energies, coincides with the list of what the solar plexus is responsible for, because without individuality, without awareness of your own worth, and recognition of your uniqueness, you are just part of the gray mass.

You know your own ability to act better than I do. A conflict is easy to identify — often there’s a desire, but I’m afraid and don’t do it; a thought comes, and I sit with it for a week, two or three. Very few people operate on the thought-done principle and actually implement it.

You don’t do it once, you don’t do it twice, the energy settles inside and forms a block.

Energy Blockage in the Heart Chakra

A deficiency in the heart chakra manifests as longing, resentment, and numbness — I don’t feel anything, I can’t love, so much is forbidden, I’m sitting in my shell, not sticking my nose out anywhere.

That’s why spiritual practices begin precisely with opening the heart. This is critically important now, as we are smoothly transitioning into being generators of energy, into generating. Not just absorbing and receiving flows, but generating from within.

A closed heart cannot generate.

This is how these charges work here. It would seem you’ve already let go of the resentment, forgotten about it, but then some situation comes up, resentment towards another person, and it starts all over again.

A charge passes through, it activates the block. But it can’t pass through on its own. It all has to be released somehow. Hence the tears, the sobbing.

That’s why there is this practice of grieving among the people. Those who work within Slavic traditions know about its benefits. Unfortunately, we have lost this culture of needing to grieve and cry it out.

In the past, there was even a profession — mourners, whose job was to help people release emotions through their throat and voice. Because it is precisely through the voice that this charge is released.

For years we’ve been talking about the topic of death, grief, that all of this needs to be cried out, not suppressed within yourself, to go into the forest and scream it out, or in a normal state it’s great to chant mantras, make sounds, sing songs — to engage the throat.

But when you know a block is there, just scream it out.

Block in the Throat Chakra

The throat chakra is responsible for self-expression. Most people have a blockage in the throat, when you don’t speak the truth, when you agree even if you don’t want to, when you shove your desires somewhere because something else is a priority, when you act from a place of “should” rather than “I want” or “I choose.”

There are many different stories, but with honesty, with truth in this case, with speaking up, many people have difficulty: I don’t want to offend, I don’t want to hurt, what will they think of me, I don’t want to strain the relationship.

So if someone comes to you overexcited, you see something amazing happened or something terrible happened to this person, it’s useless to talk until they’ve gotten it off their chest. Active listening is important here, when you listen without interrupting.

At that moment, it’s important to discharge that impulse of “I need to tell you,” and until they say it, you have problems in communication. And then you can talk to the person on an adult-to-adult level.

And those who don’t have this impulse here, who have a block, the complete opposite, need to hear a lot of things: “I love you,” “you are safe,” “you are the most precious thing in life,” “everything is fine with us,” and many other beautiful phrases that many people have lacked throughout their lives.

And the most basic thing: “I’m sorry, I was wrong” or just “I’m sorry.”

Another parameter is sound. If in the sacral chakra we read emotions from those around us, then the throat chakra is how we express, including our emotions.

If a person has built up a charge, no matter what kind, and they start to vent it, and it often happens that they even say dirty words, if at that moment you are not in the position of an observer, but immediately buy into it and take everything that comes out personally, not understanding that it’s a charge, then the consequences can be dire.

Let’s say men are used to controlling everything and want things to be the way they want, that’s a sign of masculine energy. I want everything to be my way, if it doesn’t work out, I’ll break through. But life with you has been such for the last three years that it rarely happens the way you want.

Those who have manifested masculine energy, particularly our men, constantly have this powerful conflict, which manifests in the form of unbridled anger and aggression.

If at that moment you don’t understand that it’s a discharge, a release, it’s very easy to take it personally, because everything immediately gets tied in, and all those secret thoughts when I didn’t like something.

So the recommendations here are: allow yourself to speak the truth, and just to speak, and don’t take it personally when someone vents at you in a rage.

Energy Blockage in the Sixth Chakra

The function of the sixth chakra is our perception of the world; our beliefs live there, how we perceive everything, and most importantly, the image of ourselves is stored there, often distorted.

The sixth chakra is imagination, so what’s important there is vision, the inner observer, visualization.

Many people confuse different things, thinking that fantasizing or dreaming about something is vision.

Actually, no, for me vision is a fusion of intuition and heart’s guidance, when you feel the impulse, your path, where you are going, when your values are aligned.

In the end, the mind and heart work in tandem. This is my vision of myself, my vision of my future, my vision of something.

As you understand, for most people this vision is in no way connected to heart energy. More often than not, it’s filled with scary stories from the head, all our mental and psychological traumas, life is terrible, life is dangerous. And in the sixth chakra, a layer of beliefs powerfully blocks everything and everyone.

And yet, how many people are afraid of the future, of uncertainty. The function here is completely different, why it’s not about the third eye, although it is about vision.

We have a whole framework there made of different blocks and limitations, which is difficult to break through, because this vision, in my understanding, is a link of many elements. When they are aligned within you, you are confident in yourself, you trust the world, you are at peace with your emotions, even better you have switched to feelings, and then it all comes together like beads on a single thread.

In connection with the sixth chakra, it is important to talk about the observer. We have meditations “The Soaring Bird” and “The Cinema,” where in the first case you imagine yourself as a bird soaring above the earth, and in the second case you are in the audience watching the screen, as an observer.

This is a split in focus, so as not to be fully immersed in the situation, because most often there you are a victim, you are being moved like a pawn.

From an energy perspective, in the observer position, the charge is neutral. Therefore, if even part of your consciousness is in the observer position, either from the side or from above, the easier it becomes.

When you are sitting with relatives or colleagues who are rehashing topics unpleasant to you, and you cannot leave the conversation—say you share an office—enter the state of the observer.

This state, even if you are part of the conflict, helps resolve many issues because you are not entirely there, you do not fully fall into that traumatized, blocked cocktail. A part of you is always observing from the side.

Block in the Crown Chakra

The seventh chakra is our connection to the divine. A lot can be said here about what the divine is.

Those who have this turned off and have a block are categorical, materially grounded materialists, realists. And those whose crown chakra is too open while the lower part is blocked live in fantasies.

In which of the chakras did you find an energy blockage? And where, on the contrary, is everything fine with it?
