Living in the present, living in the moment here and now is a hackneyed phrase, but it has the deepest meaning and is currently coming to the forefront.
This concept is one of the building blocks of creating a new reality.
But now, from every corner and every angle, this and other similar phrases have been so overused, without understanding the depth of meaning, that most people have a very superficial understanding of it.
In this article, we will try to reveal the meaning and depth of why it is important to live here and now.
Why it is important to live in the moment here and now
It is impossible to create while being in the past. You can only manage your reality and create it in the present through feeling.
Pay attention to your words, how you pronounce them. If you pronounce them in the past tense, then your point of focus is in the past.
It does not matter if it was 2 days ago or several years ago, what matters is that at that moment you are not in the now. And, accordingly, if you are not in the now, you cannot unfold what comes to you.
Re-read the phrases you write somewhere in correspondence, is it still related to the past or is it being in the “here and now”.
There are people who escape into the future, but the point is that you always need to return to the present moment, anchor yourself in it. Do not escape into the past, because everything there is outdated.
We often say, take an example from new children, because they are much more advanced than us. Also, the present is more advanced than the past.

Today is better than yesterday
To people who rush around in panic, saying that a bright future awaits us, they must by default accept a paradigm of thinking that today is always better than yesterday, and tomorrow is always better than today.
There is no other way. It is pointless to live in the past; it no longer exists, there is only now.
And the faster you get used to this idea, train your mind to think and perceive this way, the better.
Here, the issue is your focus. Keep your focus inward, not on external circumstances or negative news. As soon as you fall for that bait, your focus shifts from internal to external.
But when you are inside and in the moment of now, you connect to a new reality.

When You Have a Choice
The word “present” is used in different ways. But “here and now” means that I have no past, no future; all my attention, all my energy is in this very moment. And that is a big difference.
Whatever events happened in the past, they are perceived as the past not only on an informational level but, very importantly, on an emotional level.
That is when I use the term “to work cleanly.” Precisely cleanly, so that no emotional ties remain. Accordingly, we conclude that it also does not affect the future.
And then we have that very conscious choice and opportunities. We no longer react; we choose.
But under one condition: that the past does not influence your future, that there is no reactive behavior where you, for some unknown reason, unconsciously react in a certain way.

Living in the moment here and now and living one day at a time are not the same thing
There is a misconception about this phrase, when people think that living here and now means living one day at a time.
Living in the moment here and now and living for pleasure, without taking responsibility for the consequences of what is happening now — these are not the same thing. This is a substitution of concepts.
If you live one day at a time, like that dragonfly — it is not a very correct path. Living in the here and now — an example: someone rings the doorbell, and I deal with it. What will happen in ten hours — that is not in the here, I will deal with it then.
What cracks is the prism through which you evaluate yourself. If you evaluate yourself by your bank account, by the money you earn, by the positions someone holds, you will be a loser. Because you have achieved nothing and in no way.
Nothing will help here except a severe crisis of worldview.
Open the books of Neale Walsch, start reading. Because in your narrow box of the world, there are roles and your inadequacy. And in this coordinate system, you will be a loser.
But there are many other coordinate systems. Your time — to change your worldview, to expand the picture. To free yourself from these roles: what your parents tried to impose on you.
And what do you choose? Many, like a hamster on a wheel, run toward others’ goals. And then — yes, losers, they didn’t achieve. Maybe those were not your goals at all.
Utter a phrase to calm the mind: “I have already thought about this.”
And it is also important: do you set goals or do you sit in your fantasies? If you set a goal for yourself — to buy housing in 10 years, while now you work as a janitor, then you are looking at things soberly.
You quit your job, acquire a higher-paying specialty, and go to work where they pay more, to bring yourself closer to the goal.
But if you continue working as a janitor, dreaming of owning a yacht and doing nothing about it, living on a meager salary, then you are living in fantasies.
And you will stay there until you start changing something in your life.
And how do you understand the phrase “live here and now”? Do you manage to live in the moment?
