Inner treasure hunting. How to see your hidden treasures.

We are gifted by the world far more than we can imagine.

Each of us has unique talents and exciting prospects for fulfillment that can open the path to success and joy.

However, sometimes we not only fail to use these treasures—we often don’t even see them.

Why does this happen and how to reclaim the lost parts of yourself—you’ll find out in this material.

Our Blind Spots

I suggest an interesting experiment.

Look at the picture. It depicts your treasures. These are new opportunities, talents, sources of inspiration and strength.

They can be directed toward attracting money, creativity, career growth, new relationships (or strengthening existing ones), fulfilling a dream, and a joyful, meaningful life.

Now close your right eye and look with your left eye at the cross on the right.

And, without rushing, alternately move closer to the screen and farther away.

The image of the treasures you see out of the corner of your eye will disappear at a certain moment.

Paradox. There they are, right before your eyes—but they’re invisible. On the left, it’s like a blank slate…

This phenomenon is called the “blind spot” of your vision (the area of the eye that doesn’t perceive light).

There are similar blind spots in your psyche and worldview.

Simply put, amazing opportunities can be right in front of you—but you won’t see them. Not because they’re unattainable—but simply because you’re in your own “blind spot”…

Discover a simple way to find your uniqueness.

How Treasures Went into the Shadow

with your criticism, whom.

The blind spots of your inner world have another name—”shadow aspects.”

These are things that exist within us but are hidden: unrealized talents, suppressed dreams and desires, repressed memories and feelings.

Some of the above “hid” to protect us—for example, certain traumatic, unpleasant events from our lives, as well as information that is simply “excess” at the moment, overloading our consciousness.

A lot of our strength and resources also lie here (and in the seminar “Dance with the Shadow” you can learn to release them).

But right now we’re talking specifically about treasures—our potentially strong and bright sides that, for some reason, ended up in the Shadow.

This could be the talent of an artist, musician, entrepreneur, organizer, teacher, actress…

And not an abstract talent, but one with its own unique nuances. Not “an artist in general,” but a master of fabric painting, an interior designer, a room decorator, a children’s book illustrator…

Everyone has talents. Some have obvious ones, others have hidden ones that the person doesn’t even suspect. The energy to develop these talents exists in everyone; we just don’t use it.

So why have such wonderful values remained hidden from us?

Everyone will have their own story, but the common reason is usually the same: at some point, the expressions of your talents (ideas, endeavors) were judged and suppressed.

Judged by someone significant in our lives: parents, teachers, other close ones and acquaintances. And suppressed by ourselves, in response to rejection and ridicule.

At some point, we made a decision to “not do this anymore and not even try.” And, in many cases, we don’t even remember it.

Early creative expressions are always very fragile, and negative feedback can severely undermine a little creator.

Reclaiming Your Power

Talent needs empathy; it needs to be understood.

(c) Fyodor Dostoevsky.

We can’t turn back time and prevent the events that caused us to lose part of our power.

But we can support and nurture our inner treasures right now, in the present. And we can do this on our own, with the moral support of like-minded people.

It is precisely to help people reclaim their lost valuable parts of themselves and become stronger that Alena Starovoitova developed the course “Dance with the Shadow.”

This is a foundational transformational program that allows participants to achieve psychological wholeness: to see their rejected sides, to uncover unexpected facets of their abilities, to admit bold desires to themselves, and finally, to accept and love themselves with all their strengths and weaknesses.

One of the program’s modules is called “Treasure Chest,” and it is dedicated precisely to reclaiming your inner resources.

I am sure this exercise will bring you pleasure and allow you to open the treasure chest of your soul.

And to learn how to proceed further and accept all the gifts of your shadow side, you will find out from the “Dance with the Shadow” seminar.
