The law of energy circulation

I no longer remember how I came across the site “Letters from the Universe,” but I liked it there and subscribed to the mailing list. And today I found THIS in my inbox (a bit long, but it’s worth it):

Of course – this turned out to be a not-quite-ordinary Letter from the Universe – but the information in it is far too useful – so I hope it didn’t come out too complicated or confusing.

I have fun Letters – so let there be serious ones too, like this one.

So, by popular request – we continue our unhurried conversation about the Laws of Life.

Epigraph:

Midway upon the journey of our life
I found myself within a forest dark…

“THE DIVINE COMEDY” by Dante Alighieri

The Laws of Life are quite complex and confusing, but even understanding their very essence superficially – you can already STRONGLY AND SHARPLY change the world around you.

Moreover, as usual – you’ll have to change yourself first, but… all the change in your essence will be that you start behaving IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAWS OF LIFE :)))

Today I’ll tell you about the “Law of Energy Circulation” – showing MANY of its facets, not just the simplified AND AMBIGUOUSLY-DANGEROUS – “everything comes back”…

Of course – what’s written below is only A PART of the multifaceted system of principles and laws of the Universe, and I’m simplifying many concepts for better understanding.

But even this small part described below – if you understand it – will help you change a lot in your life, UNDERSTANDING how certain processes work.

In one form or another, this information has long been not new, but it somehow doesn’t reach ordinary people in a simple form. Ordinary – in the sense that they are not psychologists, physicists, or similar specialists studying these patterns.

I tried to write the Letter as briefly and simply as possible, simplifying everything greatly. But still – to understand it – this Letter needs to be CAREFULLY READ.

Once again – THIS LETTER IS IMPORTANT TO READ CAREFULLY OTHERWISE THERE WILL BE NO BENEFIT! Read it in one sitting.

Let’s begin.

Any event either gives you energy or takes it away.

What is “energy”? That’s a topic for a separate conversation, but for now, I suggest we consider that “energy” is the totality of life forces – health, mood, the feeling of endless possibilities, the desire to do something, physical strength, inspiration, knowledge, money, and so on and so forth.

You are praised – you feel joyful, pleasant, and suddenly you’re “flying as if on wings.”

You are scolded and “everything slips from your hands.”

As always, the wise Russian language (and not just Russian!) has found metaphors here that most accurately reflect the essence. “Flying on wings” – i.e., A LOT OF ENERGY, “slips from your hands” – i.e., LITTLE ENERGY.

Energies can be DIFFERENT. A smile is one type of energy. A gift is another. A tasty candy is a third, money is a fourth, inspiration from visiting “places of power” is a fifth (this is one of the most powerful, along with money and love), and so on ad infinitum.

There are INFINITELY many types of energies – and on top of that, they can even be mixed to obtain new energies!

More than half a century ago, Einstein demonstrated the inseparable connection between space, matter, and time.

It’s important to understand – space, matter, and time are INSEPARABLY CONNECTED. THIS IS A SCIENTIFIC FACT!!!

But HOW to apply this to everyday life remains practically unknown — the scientists themselves understand it all, but they don’t have time to explain it with clear examples during their breaks between winning Nobel prizes and grants. 🙂

Since I’m not getting a Nobel this year 🙂 and I know the effect of this law from my own experience, applying it constantly, below I’ll show you HOW it works in some aspects of your life.

My examples will help you understand HOW to act if you want to achieve a specific result.

Any event is, in essence, a point of influence on your energy.

Once more — AN EVENT IS A POINT (A DEVICE) — THAT INFLUENCES YOUR ENERGY.

You were praised (event) — your energy went up.

You were offended (event) — your energy went down.

Is that clear? Let’s move on.

So these event-points can influence your energy in COMPLETELY DIFFERENT WAYS!!!

The situation gets complicated because different energies work differently at different times. :)))

Confusing? 🙂 Bear with me. Examples are coming soon. And even pictures.

ALL EVENTS HAVE ONLY ONE THING IN COMMON — their operating principle: events ask something from you and give you something in return.

In other words, in exchange for taking some of your energy — they give you some energy.

And importantly, they ASK you for energy — whether to give them something or not is up to you!

For simplicity, let’s limit it to the fact that an event, in exchange for the energy you give it, can do one of three things:

1) take energy away from you;

2) give you energy;

3) SIMULTANEOUSLY take some energy away and give some.

An event is like a campfire — throw some wood into it, and the fire gives you warmth. That is, YOU GIVE IT ENERGY AND GET EVEN MORE ENERGY IN RETURN.

But if you throw TOO MUCH energy into the fire — pour gasoline on it, for example — you might get burned. That’s exactly why lottery winners who win an unusually large sum for them often go bankrupt quickly.

If you throw gunpowder into the fire — it will explode — meaning the fire will give you back NOT the energy that’s useful to you. 🙂 USEFUL specifically, because children, for example, often throw something explosive into the fire — they WANT a big “bang,” but the usefulness of that “bang” is questionable :).

Or you can pour water on the fire — it will go out. But it will still give you energy in return — firstly, steam, and secondly — satisfaction from putting out the fire (remember that feeling of satisfaction — when the fire is extinguished BY YOU?..), and most importantly — it will stop interfering with you receiving energy from the surrounding air temperature — the fire’s heat was drowning it out, filling everything.

It’s also important here that putting out the fire can give you the FREEDOM to leave the forest without worrying about a wildfire — that’s also the energy of FREEDOM FROM RESPONSIBILITY + A SENSE OF COMPLETION.

If you don’t throw anything into the fire — the fire-event will fade from your life. It will die out. That’s exactly why so often — the best way to deal with attacks on you is simple ignoring.

This is where the saying “it’s like feeding a horse that won’t eat” comes from — sometimes giving a lot, or even anything at all, is HARMFUL, just as it’s harmful to give a fire TOO MUCH fuel or to buy a child too many toys.

At the same time, people have a hard time noticing events that work on the principle of “the more you give, the more you lose”!

Well, for example – the more you lose at the casino, the more you want to bet and win it back. And if you don’t break this vicious circle by “locking in” your losses in time, you can really “take a hit” :))).

A person DOES NOT NOTICE — that playing at the casino is an event with one outcome – you put energy into it – it takes even more energy from you.

So, an event — is a “black box” — you put something into it – it gives you something back – cold, warmth, money, poverty, an explosion, love, hatred, etc.

Everything around you works on this principle. From a refrigerator (electricity in exchange for cold) to relationships. Only in relationships, you can’t describe the recipe for what you need to give to receive love with a simple phrase :).

Is this clear?

By the way, from this understanding of all events comes the answer to the question – Why does selfless help almost always end badly? Simply because one of the main laws is broken – IF YOU PUT SOMETHING IN – YOU WILL HAVE TO/NEED TO GET SOMETHING IN RETURN! THAT IS THE LAW! PERIOD!

When someone doing something selflessly refuses to receive energy-gratitude (goodness) in return… it STILL comes back to them in an unpredictable way. And this could turn out to be harm. It’s sad – but it’s a fact – either you INDEPENDENTLY DETERMINE THE WAYS FOR OTHERS TO EXPRESS GRATITUDE TO YOU, or… there’s a risk of unexpected “evil for good” – anyone who hasn’t experienced this, come here, I’ll give you a halo! 🙂

Now take a look at the diagram. You are in the middle. A GOOD EVENT in the past…

This is why it’s so pleasant to remember GOOD things – this event NOURISHED you with energy, and by feeding it through your memories, you’re like adding fuel to a fire, which, in turn, NOURISHES YOU.

The next diagram. You are in the middle. A BAD EVENT in the past…

This is why it’s so UNpleasant to remember BAD things – this event TOOK energy from you, and by giving it energy through your memories, you’re like adding fuel to a fire, which, in turn, BURNS YOU.

And now a tiiiny but important trick. Look at this diagram – I’m making it a bit more complex, making it MORE REALISTIC:

This is why people sometimes “GET STUCK” in bad memories – the thing is, they usually remember THE GOOD THAT ENDED BADLY – for example, a failed relationship.

And essentially – they send TWO charges of energy into the past at once, and of course – they get TWO returns in response. One is pleasant – and the other is UNpleasant.

And the PRICE they pay for getting the positive is to keep experiencing the negative. They are like addicts – for the sake of good memories – they are ready to torment themselves in a cycle.

In such a situation, it’s important to answer the question – what is the MAIN thing for you in these memories – the good that was, or the fact of the breakup and the desire to stop that breakup and bring it all back?

If the good that was is more important to you – then look, it turns out like this:

I.e., inside the process, the positive circulates, increasing itself, while the negative – a byproduct – gradually FALLS AWAY, evaporates from the circulation of energies, and there is less and less of it.

If you are fixated on the very fact of the breakup, seeing the negative breakup as the main thing in the memory of this relationship, the picture is different:

I.e., with each cycle, there is more and more negativity, and less and less good. The negative circulates (as the MAIN ENERGY) INSIDE THE PROCESS, while the positive – evaporates and falls away, as a non-main, byproduct.

What you think about most, what you consider most important – becomes STRONGER, what you don’t notice – gradually EVAPORATES.

That’s why during a breakup, they advise you to say THANK YOU for all the good that was, and ACCEPT the breakup as a DONE DEAL, understanding that even if the relationship is restored – it will already be a DIFFERENT RELATIONSHIP. Have you heard something like this before?

Now do you understand WHY they say that? It’s important to let an ALREADY FORMED CYCLE have the right to complete itself with the sign you need at its center of energy exchange. And not to heal it – but to build a new one.

It’s like feedback in audio electronics – when you bring a microphone close to a speaker, a most unpleasant whistle arises! Have you all encountered this?

Why does this happen? Between the speaker and the microphone, there is an AMPLIFIER.

Because the speaker amplifies what the microphone gives it, the microphone in turn amplifies what the speaker has already amplified, which amplifies it again, and so they chase the sound in a circle, hollowing it out into that terrible whistle. The solution? Move the microphone away from the speaker, because THERE IS NO OTHER WAY to make it amplify only what’s needed and ignore what’s not. In other words, this connection can EITHER BE COMPLETELY BROKEN (by turning off the microphone), OR brought into a state where the microphone and speaker are far apart. That’s exactly why “Out of sight, out of mind!” is, as a rule, the BEST solution for getting through a love drama!

And even better – at the same time, make the microphone’s sensitivity lower – then it will only amplify what you say directly into it (have you seen how singers perform, holding the microphone right up to their lips?).

What does “making the microphone’s sensitivity lower” mean in life terms?

A whole bunch of things – starting from the healthy ability to pay less attention to extraneous things (Kuzya has again forbidden me to use the word “apathy”), and ending with focusing on a specific goal without getting distracted by the irrelevant.

I hope now, from understanding this simple “Law of Energy Circulation,” it becomes a little clearer how to behave in certain situations, why it’s better not to focus on the bad, and what’s happening around you in life becomes a little clearer.

An inquisitive reader will ask – why then does what once seemed like a catastrophe, after many years seem not so scary, and sometimes even funny?

Here another law comes into play – we’ll only touch on it with a few words, we still need to have time to discuss the harmfulness of loans.

The thing is that, NEVERTHELESS, good and kind things are STRONGER than evil, from the perspective of how our brain works (even in fairy tales and movies, we want the good guys to beat the bad guys :).

That’s why, when we remember the past through the thickness of time, usually only the good comes to mind and we forget all the bad. The brain FORGETS THE BAD more easily than the good. Tricky, isn’t it? 🙂

That’s just how it’s built – our brain. Essentially, it HELPS not to feed bad events, and when we remember relationships that ended unsuccessfully, after many, many years – we remember only the GOOD, FEEDING the good and not feeding the bad. That’s why couples get back together years after breaking up.

But for the bad to be forgotten – a certain amount of time must pass. How much? And how best to do this? More on that another time.

Let’s get back to our pictures. Look:

Here’s why it feels so good to dream about something – we are feeding the FUTURE, we are nourishing good future events, and they – even before happening – already bring us positivity.

Here’s why it’s so important to be able to think correctly – to be able to avoid harmful thoughts and think what’s beneficial for you, to be able to INVEST energy through your thoughts INTO THE EVENTS YOU NEED.

It is precisely this effect, described above, the effect of feeding future events with your thoughts, and thereby materializing them, that the adherents of the “Law of Attraction” tried to describe.

Why “tried”? Simply because they described only HALF of it, “forgetting” about the second – equally important – part required for this law to actually work. I never tire of repeating: “If the law of attraction worked the way it’s advertised – every teenage boy would be drowning in sex with supermodels. But no matter how much they think about it ;), their fantasies don’t come true.”

Why was the second part “forgotten”? Well… probably so they could make a second movie someday :). Because I just can’t believe they didn’t know the other half…

So simply thinking correctly about the future isn’t everything you need to do for “dreams to come true” – I’ll write about this sometime, about the other half of the “law of attraction.”

And now about loans. Look at this scheme. This is what happens when you SAVE money for something:

And this is what happens when you buy something on credit:

Your feeling of HAPPINESS in life depends to a large extent on WHERE your energy investment is directed – into the past or into the future.

Here, you’re investing energy in all directions, and in return… you get nothing good.

Of course – there are situations where credit is not evil, but good. For example – when a loan is taken to earn money.

Or when what you buy ONLY INCREASES IN VALUE OVER TIME (for example – an apartment), and you would have had to spend the loan payment amount each month anyway (for example – on rent).

As an exercise, if you want – try drawing the picture yourself and showing yourself WHY borrowing money to earn money works to your advantage.

There are methods for getting rid of loans faster and for normalizing and making life happier, but that’s not for now, otherwise I’ll never finish this Letter :).

This is why it’s important to NEVER leave old tasks unfinished – and to try to have as few loose ends, pending matters, and such as possible. Because they force you to think about the past, and spend your energy NOT ON BUILDING THE FUTURE, but on feeding a PAST that is ALREADY MEANINGLESS for you.

This is why it’s so unpleasant to think about unfinished business – and the longer you leave it unfinished, the more unpleasant it becomes :)) they simply SUCK energy out of you, and you FEEL it on an intuitive level.

Sometimes this even leads to a desire to quit your job – to cut off all those threads, loose ends, and pending matters stretching into the past in one FELL SWOOP.

This is what’s bad about stealing – the thief takes energy and gives NOTHING in return.

He violates a law – which is impossible to violate.

The thief will HAVE something taken away from him anyway – one way or another – freedom, health, etc. (I won’t dwell on negativity here).

Sometimes it is taken from the thief by taking something from a loved one. This happens when the thief turned out to be a complete unicorn and somehow managed to evade the law of energy flow – built churches, engaged in charity, and so on.

For a while, this can help, but… almost ALWAYS, balance is eventually restored. Even if it happens through loved ones – taking something from them and ultimately making the thief also “robbed.”

Speaking of charity, it’s important to understand: SMART charity from an energy perspective is when you don’t just give, no! SMART CHARITY is when YOU OR THE WORLD receive something in return.

In other words, the EVENT may return energy not to you, but to the world.

For example – giving a beggar in the subway money for vodka is charity, BUT a foolish one – what do you or the world get?! Nothing.

Paying for a new violin for a boy violinist is SMART charity – the world and you receive his music in return. Through the boy violinist, you create a POWERFUL flow emanating from you into the world.

The examples of bad charity I want to give might seem cruel to some – so come up with them yourself – you already have the information for this, and there are plenty of such examples around! Think in terms of flows – something left you, something came to you/to the world.

Covering the expenses of a religious institution is also smart – such institutions give people all the important things that believers receive from religion. By the way, any religion, to one degree or another, essentially explains this law of energy flow that I’m explaining in this letter. Just in DETAIL and with simple, clear examples and role models.

Making a contribution to building a theater is smart, making a contribution to building a playground is smart.

Moreover – charity, by its very nature, is NOT NECESSARILY MONEY! Sometimes a kind word or KNOWLEDGE, advice, gives more than money.

Don’t just give a fish, but give a FISHING ROD and teach how to use it. That’s why – you can give the boy violinist money for a violin, or – if you’re an experienced violinist – GIVE HIM LESSONS. This is more useful and powerful – emotional values are often stronger than material ones.

I’ll write more about other Laws of Life in my Letters if there are enough people interested, because the topic, in my opinion, is a bit confusing and not interesting to everyone. I’ll be guided by your feedback. Including yours :).

So – how do you like this Letter? 🙂 Was it interesting? Difficult?

Sincerely Yours and always with You :),
The Universe
