Choosing yourself over following others’ authority.

The time for following external authorities has passed. Now it is important to learn to choose yourself, to listen to yourself, to what is truly true for you. No one from the outside can tell you where to go, how to act, or what to choose. Only you and your higher aspects know this.

Read about what happens when you follow external authorities and what makes it difficult to choose yourself.

What happens when you follow external authorities

The theme of following external authorities is now being widely highlighted.

If you have not worked through the theme of “I choose myself in any situation” (when interacting with relatives, colleagues, neighbors, etc.), and you continue to do something to your own detriment, you may get a “slap in the face.”

This happens so that you can see and realize that you are putting others’ interests above your own.

Also, the theme of authorities remains as relevant as ever.

If you are endlessly scouring the internet from morning to night in search of various information, this theme is relevant for you as well. In this way, you continue to seek support in information, afraid of missing something important or something terrible.

As is known, information does not provide support. By chasing information, you imperceptibly and easily give away your power to external authorities (authors of channels and broadcasts, others’ opinions and perspectives on a situation, etc.).

Listening to someone “from the outside,” you cannot know to what extent that person themselves lives the life they advocate. This can only be understood through personal interaction.

Currently, people’s worldviews are very divergent.

One of the lessons of the present time is to learn to accept that another person may have a different point of view and different values.

Choosing Yourself and Relying on Yourself. Problems of a Suppressed Solar Plexus

The solar plexus chakra is responsible for your individuality, uniqueness, issues of following authorities, and understanding your self.

Essentially, these are topics that you come to consciously comprehend already in adulthood.

Those whose solar plexus has been suppressed since childhood back down from any “bullying” or any outburst of aggression directed at them. Even the simple threat of being misunderstood makes everything inside them shrink.

The solar plexus is about inner authority.

Until you cultivate it (cultivate your individuality and a sense of deep self-worth), your solar plexus will signal an imbalance to you.

The themes of the solar chakra are very deep themes. For this reason, there is no single universal tool that, once adopted, will suddenly make you truly value yourself.

It is a process in which, time and again, you can pull out some other “unfinished” aspect from within yourself.

Learn to value your small individual traits (your unique differences from others), and you will see how your life begins to unfold differently.

You are all excellent at criticizing yourself, scolding yourself, and being dissatisfied with yourself. Develop your ability to value yourself first and foremost.

Perceive the presence in your space of people/loved ones who know how to “love themselves strongly” as a gift. Observe their sense of selfhood and feeling of self-worth.

Sometimes, for you to see something about yourself, the feeling of self-love may be overly hypertrophied in your mirrors (in other people).

This happens because otherwise—without the presence of a pronounced contrast—you would not be able to see the extent of your own undervaluation.
