If you read a lot, study, and watch a large number of videos, sooner or later information overload sets in.
Read about how it manifests, and why you need to do an information detox.
How information overload manifests. Symptoms
- New information starts to be poorly absorbed; you read and watch like a scanner, but you don’t grasp the meaning;
- Forgetfulness, absent-mindedness (this same symptom also appears when downloading new energies, light codes);
- Many tasks, plans, and ideas accumulate that don’t get implemented; you don’t know what to grab onto first;
- Anxiety levels rise, partly because you aren’t getting anything done;
- Headache or heaviness, fatigue;
- A feeling of dissatisfaction.
What information consumerism threatens
«You don’t need too much information in life, because it must be applied.
When you just take it, take it out of greed, more, more, more, and no changes happen in your life, you don’t apply it, you start to destroy yourself from within.
Your information channel gets clogged, you start speaking in other people’s phrases, other people’s intonations, you lose yourself.
And now, on the contrary, it’s important to preserve yourself, protect your sovereign space, and if you haven’t built it yet, then it’s even more necessary to shield yourself from the excess information flow.
There is a very large energy exchange going on between you and other people, the outside world; no matter what information you take in, you are constantly exchanging energy with someone. »

3 reasons to do an information detox
1. Loss of connection with your higher aspects
Not only do you lose connection with your Higher Self and soul, you stop hearing your heart. And the heart is the resonator of your truth.
If you don’t hear yourself, then the mind and ego kick in, and in the case of information overload, you will be guided by someone else’s beliefs, someone else’s worldview.
It’s good if you are selective in your information sources, but if it’s plain omnivorousness, then nothing good will come of it. How can you determine what is truly important for you and what is not?
You won’t be able to get the necessary and correct answer from anywhere outside, only by turning inward. And to avoid being deceived, your channel must be clean and transparent.

2. Destruction of the body, appearance of excess weight
If you consume information for a long time and don’t apply it, your body will start signaling with illnesses. A common case of not applying information is the appearance of excess weight.
It’s impossible to apply all the information from books, courses, and videos, and it’s not necessary. Not everything that is offered is suitable for applying to you personally.
Get into the habit of not consuming something new until you have applied at least 10% of your previous learnings in practice.

3. Disruption in the functioning of the energy system
The energy system is closely connected to the body’s endocrine system. Additionally, each chakra is responsible for specific areas of life. If the balance of the energy system is disrupted, it affects both your physical health and your life as a whole.
The upper chakras are responsible for receiving information. If you consume a lot of it and don’t use it, blockages appear in your energy system, and energy does not flow downward.
A common case is when energy doesn’t flow downward precisely because the lower chakras are blocked. This creates a vicious cycle, which you can break out of by balancing the chakra system with energy exercises, as well as periodically giving yourself an information detox.
And of course, don’t forget to apply at least 10% of the information you receive.
