What people are paying for now. Paradigms of monetary relations.

The ideology of what people are paid for has completely changed today. The worldview of money relationships has shifted.

Previous generations linked money with hard labor: work a lot and you will provide for yourself. Peasants worked from morning until night for most of the year, “catching up on sleep” in winter. After working well and hard, a person received money.

Some time later, the paradigm changed. The principle “work smart” replaced “work a lot.” Intelligence became tied to money: be smart, and you will have money.

For example, during the Soviet Union era, the usual template assumed that a person should finish school, enter an institute, work through job placement, and so on. The life “path” was programmed.

A person could successfully advance along it provided they followed certain rules.

Many people still feel nostalgic for this way of life, including for the stability guaranteed by following the rules.

And what are people paid for now? Let’s talk about this in the article.

What people are paid for now

The paradigm continues to change. Now people are paid for brains and decisions that affect the financial result. Otherwise, it’s easier to hire a secretary.

A business leader/owner thinks, while a secretary carries out their orders.

Most people are not inclined to take initiative, love to just talk, and are not focused on results.

There are very few people who can engage their brains, make a decision that affects the outcome of a matter, and along with it, take responsibility for the consequences of that decision.

In today’s reality, people are paid precisely for this – for the ability to take responsibility for a decision made and to deliver financial results.

In other words, you are paid for bringing in money. You generate money using your “brains.”

In the context of this topic, “brains” and intelligence are different things. From the perspective of attracting money, “brains” find solutions that affect the financial result.

Thanks to your decisions, the company you work for attracts more money.

Being smart and knowing how to just talk is not enough. As a generator of solutions, you hire a secretary and tell them what to do. They carry out your orders and get paid less than you for it.

Most people live by the “performer formula.” Most people build their lives on the principle “tell me what to do, and I’ll do it.”

Strive to expand beyond the “performer.” Make this your goal. When you set a goal, many aspects of you and your life begin to align with it.

Business is not for everyone

Not everyone is made to lead, and not everyone is obligated to lead. Moreover, running a business is contraindicated for many.

This primarily applies to people who are not independent and are not ready to take responsibility for their own lives, let alone the lives of others.

In business, everything depends personally on you; everything starts with you.

Decide what you want and model your occupation to fit you

Smart employees and employees who bring in money are two different things. A lot depends on the structure of the enterprise/company.

You can find or create for yourself a place/occupation where there won’t be a boss above you, riding on your efforts. Such bosses and structures are realities of the 3-D world.

Now there are plenty of organizations/projects that operate on different principles, and you can join them. But first, you yourself need to understand what you want.

In reality, most people don’t understand what they want at all. They are ready to list everything they don’t want, but they are unable to name specifically what they need.

How to understand what you want to do

You understand with your mind. The mind doesn’t know the answer to the question of what you would like to do. Only the heart knows the answer to this question.

So stop relying on your mind, and through “I don’t understand,” start doing something.

In Soviet and post-Soviet times, high school students were required to go through the so-called VTC.

VTC (or Vocational Training Center) is a practice that provided students with initial professional labor training.

Thanks to the VTC, teenagers had the opportunity to try themselves in different places, in different professions (for example, a salesperson, lab assistant, mechanic, etc.).

In those days, this was considered the norm. This is how students got their first experience of career guidance. This practice is now forgotten.

Many of those who don’t know what to do prefer to just “sit on the couch” and suffer from not understanding where they are drawn.

If this is your case, nothing stops you from trying yourself in different directions. When you realize that you have found something you are ready to do “for free,” you will start doing it for money.

If you want to understand where you can fulfill yourself, develop your feeling. Opportunities are not seen, opportunities are felt. Let yourself go. Learn to feel yourself.

Increase your financial literacy

Cash outflow can indicate a lack of basic financial literacy on your part.

For example, a survey of the project’s listeners showed that 80% of the audience has no safety cushion. The level of financial literacy for most people is practically zero.

When circumstances start to highlight your weak points, they are precisely showing you where there is a hole in one area or another.

If you don’t “patch the roof” in that area, financial collapse awaits you.

But most people prefer to turn a blind eye to this, pretend they have no financial problems, and hope that everything will resolve itself.

The universe highlights for you those many things you turn a blind eye to, where you adhere to a policy of acquiescence.

In life, you are used to agreeing with things that don’t suit you: children behaving somehow wrong, husbands treating you somehow wrong, colleagues being somehow strange.

You often enter into compromising relationships with yourself, stepping on your true self – in order not to argue with your husband, not to strain relations with your mother-in-law, etc.

Therefore, when things start to be highlighted for you (including through cash outflow), be grateful.

What happens to cash flow when you work for yourself

If you work for yourself, remember that the presence of clients depends on your internal state.

When you are in a state of drive, you have many clients, and they are happy. You broadcast this state of drive outward, and your clients feel it.

And conversely, when you have no energy, you are in a slump, clients simply disappear.

Your task is to return yourself to a state of drive. As long as you are in a relaxed state, there will be no clients.

It is impossible to be in a relaxed state and count on an influx of clients if you don’t have a clear business system.

Do you work for yourself or for an employer? Do you know how to make responsible decisions, or do you prefer to carry out your manager’s orders?
