Today my article is addressed to WOMEN. Because it is they who take on the difficult task of caring for every member of their family, helping friends and relatives.
Often FORGETTING that their resources are NOT unlimited…
Forgetting that the atmosphere in the home depends on their mood and state…
Forgetting that if they don’t take care of themselves, no one else likely will?!
So, here it is:
10 ways to pamper yourself… your beloved self
1. Start your morning differently
The daily routine has long become tiresome… you want something new, but you box yourself into rigid ideas of how a mother or wife should behave. Accordingly, duties and chores come first, and everything else comes after… for which there’s usually no time left.
Get up an hour earlier! And spend it on something you ENJOY, whether it’s a walk in the fresh air, a short meditation, your favorite tunes before everyone else wakes up… This way, you charge yourself with energy and harmony right from the morning.

The first 12 minutes after waking up are the foundation of the entire day. HOW you spend this time determines how your day will go.
{By the way, I filmed and edited this video myself when we were vacationing near Yalta.}
2. Allow yourself to do nothing
I understand that any reasonably organized woman has her daily schedule planned weeks in advance… after all, women approach household matters more responsibly (with all due respect to men).
And if you suddenly have a free minute, you’ll most likely immediately find something to keep yourself busy.
But try doing NOTHING?! Lounge on the couch for half an hour after waking up… soak in the bath… chat with friends on the phone )))
And most importantly: DON’T scold yourself for spending time aimlessly!
You are not a workhorse to toil non-stop.

3. Gift yourself pleasure at a spa salon
I wanted to write about body care and relaxation at home… But if you have small children at home, or you work during the day and only come home in the evening when the whole family is together, you’re unlikely to be able to relax 100%…
Modern spa salons offer a full range of services: from massage and aromatherapy to pools and thermal baths with beautiful music and lit candles.
Once a month, you can definitely afford to break away from household chores and enjoy yourself to the fullest!

4. Go shopping
When you have just enough money in your wallet to get by until payday, the idea of going to the stores causes sharp resistance: “What would I even do there?!”
And modern shopping malls are entire conglomerates of beautiful little shops, cozy cafes, entertainment centers…
Women are visual creatures by nature; they absorb the diversity of the world through their EYES. Don’t deny yourself the pleasure of strolling through stores, trying on everything that catches your eye, and having coffee in a pleasant setting…
You DON’T have to spend money ))) But you’ll get a lot of enjoyment.

5. Arrange a Get-Together with Friends
I won’t ask when you last met up with close friends in person… In the era of cell phones and the internet, communication has become virtual and one-on-one.
Yes, you can have a group video call on Skype, but can it replace real-life support, warm hugs, and chatting about nothing at all… There are always questions and situations you can only share during a personal meeting.
6. Take a Break from Cooking
I’m not calling on you to stop cooking altogether… but you can take a short break.
In almost any city today, you can order food for delivery: pizza, sushi, or any other dish from the menu (depending on where you live).
A more romantic option: invite your husband/beloved man for a romantic dinner at a cafe or restaurant.
{In our family, alcohol isn’t consumed, but the picture is cute…}
7. Spend an Evening Alone with Your Loved One
An unsettled daily routine gradually kills even the most passionate feelings. Especially when there are many children in the house.
Arrange with relatives/friends/a babysitter to watch the kids for a couple of hours… and you…
Create an unforgettable evening for yourself and your loved one. With candles, a light dinner, a sensual movie, and a bath with rose petals.
As far as your imagination allows.
8. Do What You Never Have Time For
Surely, on your to-do list, there is a favorite activity/activities that you constantly put off until you have free time.
Free time is an illusion; you might not have any for the next 10 years. And what, are you going to postpone what you love doing for that long?!
What do you enjoy doing? Sewing? Knitting? Drawing? Writing? Rereading a favorite book?
Or maybe you’ve been planning to go to the hairdresser, get a manicure…
DO IT! Stop putting it off! You only live once.
{A long-time dream of seeing an orca with my own eyes came true in San Diego, California, where we set aside a whole day to visit SeaWorld park. }
9. Make It a Rule to REGULARLY Treat Yourself to Something
By nature, I’m a realist, and I perfectly understand that after this article, you might do just one thing from this list.
Do it and then forget about it in the daily routine of tasks.
But how wonderful it would be if EVERY day you allowed yourself a little joy: make a fruit salad for YOURSELF, eat your favorite pastry/ice cream… life is made up of such little things!
