If previously there was a shortage of information, it was gathered bit by bit, and people paid money to learn something new, now, in the age of the internet, on the contrary, there is an overabundance of information.
There is no shortage of it. But another problem has emerged — who to trust (which speaker, article author, or book author).
After all, each author has their own view on the subject and their own system of interpretation.
As a result of the abundance and contradiction of information, there arises a need to independently filter and systematize the entire volume of incoming information.
New people are constantly joining the project. Traditionally, newcomers to awakening have the very first question: in such an abundance of information and conflicting views — who to trust?
Let’s figure out how not to get lost when studying new information when there is too much of it.
The feeling of contradictory information and what is necessary for its successful systematization and integration
Often, the reason for misunderstanding information is taking one or another fragment out of its holistic context.
Another reason is due to the structural features of the brain and the functioning of its synaptic centers.
To learn not just to analyze, but also to systematize and integrate information, a certain spiritual experience is required.
When you establish a connection with your higher aspects, you begin to receive answers of a completely different quality. You come to understand that any information is multidimensional and multi-level.
One answer to your question is at one level (of understanding and awareness).
Another answer to the same question is at a different level. As a result, a false impression is formed that the meaning of the answers is different and contradicts each other.
The same terms (words, concepts) can be interpreted differently by different authors.
For example, chakra systems are distinguished – of five, seven, and twelve chakras. But they are all united by the single term “chakra system.”
If you study any topic superficially, without trying to put all the pieces together, it is impossible to grasp the complete picture.

When studying new information, maintain a balance of mind and heart
If your mind wants to understand the various aspects of the world in which it functions, feed it the missing information.
At the same time, always remember: the more information you load into yourself, the more you need to be in the heart (in heart energy), in joyful impressions and pleasant (physical) experiences.
Otherwise, you risk falling into an imbalance – plunging into mental judgments, criticism, and, as a result, condemnation.

Filter your information sources
If you want to stay informed about current events, choose information that is based on facts, accurate data, and does not contain personal (emotional) interpretations.
When perceiving information, draw your own conclusions.
You have every right to invest your energy wherever you wish.
It is exclusively your choice – to read or not to read, to get involved or not to get involved, to invest energy or not to invest it.

New neural connections formed when reading books
When you read literature that expands your consciousness and shows familiar situations from a different perspective, you lay new neural pathways in your brain.
New neural connections form the idea that it is possible (to solve an old situation in a new way). First you start thinking this way, gradually you start living this way.
At first, your everyday consciousness is limited “in size,” gradually it becomes wider and larger.
When reading, the brain absorbs new information in (small) portions. This is because information is multidimensional and is assimilated at different levels.
For this reason, after reading a small fragment of new information, you may feel “knocked out” – drowsy.

Choosing “what to read” and expanding consciousness
Books are not read to figure out what is true and what is false. Books are read for expanding the level of consciousness.
The mind perceives what is (currently inaccessible to it) as fiction. This is a limitation that you overcome, including through cognition (reading).
Expanding consciousness is in no way related to trust in the source of information. Trust cannot be a criterion for choosing (preferring some) information.
You either expand your consciousness or sit within your limitations.
But if you are expanding your consciousness, seek any opportunity to broaden it (including through various sources of information) in order to look at some aspect from a different angle.
The only criterion for choosing information, and therefore for effectively expanding consciousness, is a feeling of resonance with what you are reading/learning.
As a result, you gradually assemble YOUR OWN picture of the world.
