Celebration of the spring equinox 2018

Congratulations on the spring equinox! This is a special day of balance and inner renewal, when everything in nature aligns, and we get a chance to shed accumulated ballast and launch new processes within ourselves and our lives.

In 2018, the focus was on catching the wave of energy, honestly seeing our imbalances, and balancing them through a simple practice. We also planted “seeds” for the next six months, so we could reap the harvest by autumn.

What the broadcast was about

  • Why the spring equinox is not just about the balance of day and night, but also an opportunity to stand in the “middle” of your life’s polarities
  • How to cope with solar storms and energy shifts without “shutting down,” but by tuning into the wave and going with the flow
  • Why it’s important to honestly see where you currently have an imbalance (emotions, relationships, health, finances) and not scold yourself for it, but gently realign
  • How to correctly formulate an intention for balancing: choose what you want to “align” — feminine/masculine, spiritual/material, past/future, any opposites
  • Practice: breathing through the heart, balancing up/down, forward/backward, left/right, creating an energy sphere, anchoring the feeling of balance, and planting seeds for the new cycle

Meditation “Sphere of Balance”

Goal of the meditation: To balance all polarities within yourself, enter a flow of harmony, plant the “seeds” of your changes for the coming months, and anchor the new state in your body.

In the practice, through breath and movement of attention, you balance yourself in all directions: up/down, forward/backward, left/right. You form a sphere of balance around yourself, feeling that all the necessary vibrations are already inside. Then, with intention, you plant “seeds” (desires, new qualities, dreams) and ask your higher aspects to lift you to where balance already exists. You anchor the entire state in your body.

Main Steps:

  1. Deep breathing, attention on the heart
  2. Inhale — exhale downward (into the earth), connection with support
  3. Inhale — exhale upward (into the cosmos), connection with the higher
  4. Inhale — exhale forward (future), backward (past), left, right
  5. Feeling yourself “in the center,” creating an energy sphere
  6. Formulating the intention that you are balancing, planting “seeds” of change
  7. A request to your higher self to lift you to where balance is already realized
  8. Inhale, anchor the state in your body, finish slowly

For Self-Reflection

  • What “imbalances” or areas of disharmony have you noticed recently?
  • How does your “wave” feel today? Is it easy for you to catch a state of balance?
  • What “seeds” (qualities, intentions, desires) do you want to plant now to see the fruits by autumn?
  • What do you choose to balance — within yourself, in relationships, in life?

Can I do the practice again?
— Yes, return to it on any day when you feel that balance is lost.

What if it’s hard to feel balance?
— Don’t scold yourself. Even one small movement towards harmony already changes your wave.

How to solidify the state?
— Focus on your body more often, thank yourself for everything that has already worked out.

May this spring bring you harmony, lightness, and inspiration to move forward. Remember: it all begins with acceptance and honesty with yourself. Happy spring equinox!
