History 24. The 2011 Kryon Conference

By the end of August, it will be 8 years since my husband and I moved to Riga. And before that, we lived in Oryol for 2 years.

Many of those who joined the project in recent years don’t even know that I’m Russian and that I met Maris in Riga at the Kryon Conference in 2011.

I first came to Riga in 2010 at the invitation of Alexey Obukhov — I was translating a seminar by Celia Fenn.

And so, when they were looking for translators for the conference, someone suggested inviting Alena Starovoytova to translate the channeled messages.

Honestly, I was flattered 😉

Once there, I learned the main news of the conference: Lee Carroll (Kryon’s channel) couldn’t come due to illness, and I would have to translate him via Skype 🙉

Oh my God, that news made my knees shake! I need eye contact for attunement, don’t I?!

As luck would have it, the man I was dating at the time (a healing relationship) had flown to Siberia on business and was out of touch… Right when I needed support!

And it was always like this: in the most difficult moments of my life, I was left alone!

(A note for those who complain about being left alone to solve their problems — this is your growth point, and you can’t get through it with “help from the audience.”)

By agreement with the organizers, I “got” Pepper Lewis, the channel of Gaia, and for some reason, Robert Coxon to translate.

By the way, thanks to Pepper Lewis, I ended up as a translator on stage 😄 That’s my story #10

Pepper immediately warned that Gaia’s presence is very powerful — she feels cramped being near anyone, so I was asked not to stand on stage but to sit in the front row opposite.

I chose a seat so that there was no one on either side…

And really, when Gaia spoke through Pepper (and she is a trance channel), I was literally overwhelmed by the energy and pressed into my chair.

Funny enough, I was sitting in the front row with a microphone in my hands, and somewhere in the middle of the presentation, Peggy Dubro walked into the hall, saw an empty seat next to me, and sat down…

I really felt cramped having someone so close 🤷‍♀️

After the presentation, Peggy apologized to me, saying she didn’t expect the translator to be in the hall…

And I thought to myself that she probably needs a lot of space when she works, and that it’s probably normal.

During the break, a young guy in a suit with a short haircut came up to me and said he was strongly recommended to meet Alena, but he forgot her last name.

He handed me his business card.

And I replied that there might be more than one Alena here, so he should check if he had the wrong person 🙃

The next day, he came up again and said: I read online who Alena Starovoytova is… I like what you do!

That was our first meeting with Maris… who was already in Oryol a month later, and 4 months later we got married 😂🥳😍
