“Recently I was going through temptations of excessive materialism, when it began to seem to me that it was all nonsense, that the subtle world doesn’t exist, that I imagined it all and it can all be explained. Some kind of fear and anxiety came over me…”

Does it ever happen that on the spiritual path you encounter doubts? You suddenly stop believing in the voice of the soul and ask yourself:
Maybe there are no spiritual guides, and the voice of the Higher Self is a figment of the imagination?
Does the world of angels and other dimensions really exist?
In this article, you won’t find scientific proof of the existence of the subtle plane.
But I will try to explain where these doubts come from and how to eliminate them.
Reasons for Doubts on the Path of Spiritual Development
I have identified 3 reasons for doubts that I myself have encountered throughout my spiritual growth.
1. Lack of Knowledge About the Spiritual Structure of the World
The subtle world, other dimensions cannot be touched or verified to see if they really exist.
No one can say with 100% certainty whether there is anything beyond the veil.
Not many people possess clairvoyance to see for themselves the existence of angels and other spiritual entities.
Therefore, everyone chooses for themselves the system of knowledge and beliefs that resonates with their soul and lives according to those principles.
On the spiritual path, doubts periodically overcome you: Is what I believe in actually true?
But the deeper you get to know yourself, your soul, the less often such thoughts arise.
To overcome doubts and find answers to many of your pressing questions on the topic of spirituality, I suggest reading “The Rosicrucian Cosmo-Conception” by Max Heindel, “The Divine Matrix” by Gregg Braden, and “The Biology of Belief” by Bruce Lipton.
The first two books are not scientific works, but if you need explanations of the world order from a spiritual perspective, you will find them there.
The author of the third book proves that our perception of the external world, not our genes, controls life at the cellular level.

2. Transition to a New Vibrational Level
Another reason to doubt whether spiritual practices work is that the intensity of sensations in meditations fades.
Before, during and after meditation, you felt uplifted, a surge of energy, joy, but now these feelings seem erased.
A feeling arises that the practice isn’t working. That’s not the case. The thing is, your vibrations have risen to the level you were striving for.
Before, you attuned to them through practices, but now these vibrations are the norm for you.
If you want to experience the same feelings as before, try more serious, advanced-level spiritual practices.
The main thing is not to become dependent on meditations. Always remember why you are doing this, what goal you want to achieve.
The practical online course “Workshop on Ascension Sites” will help you reach a new vibrational level.
You will master vibrational attunement, power boosting, and anchoring these vibrations in the body, and begin using techniques of transformation through Light in your daily life.
3. Falling into the Matrix
Every person experiences moments of ups and downs. A period of uplift is marked by lightness, inspiration, and faith in the best.
When you are in a resourceful state, you truly feel support from the other side, notice signs, and receive information and help.
And when you fall, everything around seems gray and bleak.
What brought you joy in an elevated state now irritates you, and faith in higher powers disappears.
In the moment of a fall, you are cut off from your Higher Self, the connection with spirit guides is blocked. You are left alone with your ego and its fears.

Find out what will help you switch gears and return to yourself.
Your emotions vibrate at low frequencies. It’s no wonder that doubts arise about yourself and the truth you believe in.
The ego “laughs” at your endeavors in the sphere of spiritual development. It only trusts verified information and past experience.
At this moment, ask yourself:
What makes me happy — this hopelessness or the belief that I am one with everything and supported by higher forces, just a hand’s reach away?
Place on one scale the belief that nothing exists except the material, and on the other — the connection with higher aspects, the help you receive from them.
Compare your feelings on each of the scales. What will you choose?
It doesn’t matter whether what you believe in exists; what matters is whether this belief supports you or makes you unhappy.
In truth, it doesn’t matter who helps you: invisible helpers or your faith in yourself.
You can call it whatever you like; the main thing is how you feel about it.

Here you will find the simplest ways to switch from the mind to the heart.
How to Overcome Doubts if You Have Fallen
“When you allow any doubt, tension arises in the heart — because in trust the heart relaxes, and in doubt it contracts.
The more you are in your head, the more the heart contracts. When you are not in your head, the heart opens like a lotus flower. Then you are truly alive, and the heart is relaxed.
When doubt catches you — the mind catches you. Doubt can be absolutely right, but even being right, it is wrong, because it destroys the heart.”

Read your personal success journal.
If you haven’t started one yet, be sure to do so and write down at least 3 victories every day, any victories, not just big ones.
After all, it is from small steps that an entire path is built.
Make sure that the successes you have achieved through spiritual knowledge and practices are always in a visible place.
If it is something intangible, like the ability to set personal boundaries, designate some physical object that will symbolize your result.
I recommend doing this in a resourceful state. Use your imagination to the fullest:
- Paint sea pebbles and collect these colorful stones in a little vase.
Each pebble represents one specific achievement or result obtained with the help of higher powers. The bigger the breakthrough, the larger the pebble.
- If you have a talent for creating something tangible, like paintings, jewelry, or toys, dedicate each of your creations to one of your achievements.
- When you start working on improving a particular area of your life, plant a seed of a small plant in a pot.
Its growth will symbolize your spiritual growth and shifts in that specific area.
If the work ahead is significant, plant a bush or even a tree sapling. Take care of it.
When doubts plague you about whether your actions and practices are yielding results, or whether higher powers are helping you, your little tree or plant will remind you that your journey was not in vain and will restore your faith in yourself.
The meditation “Returning to Yourself” will help restore the lost sense of unity with your spiritual essence and wholeness.
How we long to know for sure when it comes to something that cannot be touched or seen with our own eyes.
That is just how the human mind is wired; it needs proof.
But our goal in spiritual practices is to move from the mind to the heart in order to find happiness and harmony in life.
So use your heart as a resonator of truth and stay true to what supports and fills you.
