Meditation for Burning What Holds You Back
This meditation was recorded on Periscope specifically for the autumn equinox of 2015.
Purpose of the meditation: To burn, dissolve, and let go of everything that is no longer needed; to fill up with light and take an inner step forward.
In the practice, you visualize the sun shining in the center of your chest. You allow it to “burn away” everything that holds you back, worries you, causes tension or pain. If you don’t feel there is anything extra, simply bathe in the rays, allow yourself to be filled with warmth. Everything is done gently, at your own pace.
Main steps:
- Deep breathing, attuning to the heart
- Inhale — let in the golden sunlight into the center of your chest
- Exhale everything you want to release, allow the sun to “burn” and dissolve it
- Thank yourself and the sun, feel lightness
- If you are ready — take an inner step forward, feel the difference in your body
- Finish slowly, allowing yourself to remain in the new state
