3 signs that will help identify a true desire

All people want their desires to be fulfilled, but not everyone can distinguish a true desire of the soul from intentions built by the mind and logic.

For this reason, not all dreams come true in life.

What is the trap of desires from the mind? How can you understand what the soul truly wants? How can you determine which desires come from the heart?

Let’s try to figure these questions out.

How false desires are formed. What factors influence the emergence of desires from the mind

«Desire blinds us, and we are often deceived. But if we were to renounce desires, all of life would be a mistake.»

Romain Rolland

We live in a world where society, advertising, marketers, and fashion pressure a person and manipulate them through various information.

Under the influence of this, people begin to experience a desire to get something that seems necessary for them now.

The main human need that gives birth to all desires is to be happy. But in the pursuit of fashion, under the influence of society, it seems to a person that they feel a need to possess something.

It is important to figure out and learn to understand — what you dream about, is it a true desire, or is society making you want it.

What do you personally really want?

Where desires from the mind can lead and what their danger is

How often have you experienced disappointment after your desire came true?

It is no coincidence that there is a philosophical phrase: “Fear the fulfillment of your desires, they have a habit of coming true.”

Surely everyone in their life has experienced a state when, after getting what they wanted, the situation begins to unfold in the most unseemly way. And you realize that it would have been better if this desire had not come true.

Let me give a clear example of such a situation from the life of Tatyana, a participant in the closed group for clients “Golden Keys of Mastery”:

“I wished to go on vacation like a sanatorium, so I wouldn’t have to wash dishes or cook food, and so that money would come to me on its own, just like that… every month. And then, my child got sick, so much so that they were given a disability. And off it went…

Constant hospital stays, where I don’t cook, don’t wash, and so on. Then sanatoriums appeared in my life, and the money that the Pension Fund pays. Time passed, and in my grief I began to understand that my desire had come true.”

Why does this happen? Because through the realization of false, imposed desires, your soul tries to direct you onto the right path in life.

This story, fortunately, ended favorably. Here is its continuation:

“It was this illness of my son that turned me onto this path, towards realizing what was happening.

I want to note that many results have been achieved; the hardest thing was to look inside myself, admit my mistakes, and accept them.

In 2016, the doctor said this phrase: ‘We made a mistake in the diagnosis, your child is healthy!’ I am convinced every time that everything is right, everything was meant to be!!!”

Of course, you can learn from your own mistakes, but you can also avoid such an unpleasant stage if you understand the desires of the soul and their truthfulness.

The meditation “Meeting Yourself in the Future” will help you see your dream realized, understand how the future will unfold, and immerse yourself in the state where your dream has already come true.

3 signs that will help determine the true desire of the soul

The effort you put into realizing what you have planned is the very essence of desire.

If a desire is true, everything will begin to unfold seemingly on its own and very easily for its fulfillment.

1. You are as if guided by an invisible force

If fulfilling your desire requires you to be in a certain place, you will feel an urgent need to go, to travel to that place. And transportation will be provided to you, just at the right moment.

You won’t understand why you need to go there, but if you know how to listen to your inner call, the voice of your heart, your intuition, then upon arriving at the place, you will understand why you were led there.

Or you will be standing at a bus stop, and a bus that isn’t your number will pull up, but you will feel an irresistible urge to get on it. You won’t know where the bus is going, but at some stop you will understand that you need to get off right now.

Or, along the way, you will meet a person, or perhaps a group of people, who will guide you in the right direction toward your true desire.

To hear your heart, your heart chakra must be open and harmonious. In the course “7 Keys of Mindfulness 2.0,” participants work with tools to open all chakras, especially the heart chakra.

2. You feel like taking steps toward fulfilling your desire

The desire itself will not simply appear to you; a miracle won’t happen just like that. But you will receive opportunities for its realization. If the desire is not yours, you will sabotage and hinder its fulfillment. Your subconscious will not allow it to come true.

Think about what needs to be done to make your desire come true? Do the steps you take bring you a feeling of joy, do they fill you with energy?

Does the desire to take the next step arise? Or do you feel uncomfortable and want to stop, because you have no energy to move forward?

Another way to determine a true desire can be found in the article “Who Owns the Energy of Your Desires.”

3. You feel happiness from the process, not from the result

The joy from a fulfilled desire will be short-lived if the activity associated with it does not bring you pleasure.

A true desire is tested not by the results achieved, but by your desire to be in the process.

For example, you love to drive, you enjoy the very process of driving; then buying a vehicle, a car, is your true desire.

But if the process of driving is a burden to you, and the desire to buy a car is your goal, then after getting the result in the form of a purchased car, the period of joy from the fulfillment will be short-lived.

At a certain point, you will suddenly realize that having a car brings a bunch of problems and inconveniences into your life, and driving will be tiring.

Most likely, your true desire is not the desire to own a vehicle, but the desire to have the ability to move freely.

There are other ways to fulfill such a desire. For example, hiring a driver or using taxi services.

Second example: Your desire is to receive a certain monthly income. Let’s say it comes true. But the actions, the work for which you are paid this amount, are not to your liking. How long will the fulfilled desire make you happy?

If obstacles arise on the path to realization

On the path to fulfilling a desire, obstacles may arise. It’s possible that it’s not yours. But it’s also quite likely that you’re simply being held back, because fulfilling your desire takes time.

The situation is only unfolding, and you need to be in the right place at the right time. Not a moment sooner, but you’re rushing too much.

Learn to distinguish such moments. Don’t give up on realization right away; take action and observe. Small obstacles are not a hindrance, not a reason to give up.
