Many people underestimate the importance of taking stock of different periods in their lives. But this is a necessary step on the path to your new self.
They say you should compare yourself not with others, but with yourself in the past and present. Regular reflection helps with this.
Read on to find out why else you should do this.
Why take stock
Regular reflection is necessary to understand which of your plans, goals, and dreams have become outdated at the moment, and which are still relevant to you.
As a rule, a person has not developed the skill, nor does a structured culture exist in society, not just to periodically take stock, but to conduct a total review of one’s benchmarks.
In reality, and 2023 is proof of this, a person constantly and noticeably changes, and the speed and depth of transformations are increasing.
The new self-perception resulting from transformations, as a rule, is not automatically transferred to what was previously conceived by your mind.
New content, a new sense of yourself, is born within you.
Then comes the stage when you get acquainted with new manifestations of yourself. After that, you need to transfer this new experience to everything else – to your mental constructs (plans, ideas, concepts, etc.).
You change every day. Within a week, tremendous changes occur within you.
Every time you undergo a serious transformation (for example, heal a trauma), you “untie” many things at the level of awareness.
Your task is to transfer the “untied knots” to all other experiences, to interactions with other people and the world around you as a whole.
Ideally, you should regularly initiate a process of verification – checking how much your plans, tasks, and desires correspond to your current self, that is, your today’s version.

The Key to Reconciling with Your New Self is the Willingness to Let Go
Some time ago, many years ago, when I was being nurtured through dreams and shown powerful concepts, I had a dream.
I was rushing somewhere with a suitcase. Suddenly, a rumor spread around: “The Lady is here, the Lady is here.” A certain woman appeared, accompanied by a team of people. Everyone was asked to open their suitcases and present their contents, their personal belongings.
Nowadays, everyone travels and constantly goes through security checks. But back then, when I had this dream, all of that was new. I very clearly remember the feeling of having your insides opened up and everything being checked, while all the excess was thrown out – “you don’t need this, and you don’t need this, and you don’t need this…”.
In the dream, I tried to cling to every item, to explain that I would still need it, that it would come in handy. I remember my inner resistance as everything I had accumulated was scattered around me, until the bottom of the suitcase was visible, and how I literally clung to each thing.
From that experience in the dream, I gained a great realization – the more you cling, the stronger the resistance grows, and the less forward movement you have. In reality, voluntary emptying, when you yourself willingly throw out all that junk, frees you and accelerates your progress.
This kind of inventory applies to everything.
In a physical sense, you do it constantly. Any trip, move, change of residence or location, even a simple packing for a journey are examples.
Your task is to do the same with all your plans, ideas, and programs.
It is especially important to take inventory of your beliefs – to reconsider what you believe, what you take as an axiom, and what you base your algorithms of interaction with other people and the outside world on.
All of this requires rechecking and revision, cross-referencing with the new version of yourself, with your current worldview.
Each of us has a cartload of unfinished processes. There is a powerful flow happening now, but you have too many loose ends left:
- “I planned to talk, but didn’t”;
- “I needed to go somewhere, but didn’t”;
- “I was going to have a serious conversation, but put it off until later,” etc.
All of these are intentions with a slight negative tinge.
But you also have many plans and intentions with a positive sign:
- “I planned to rest, but didn’t”;
- “I wanted to go to an exhibition/play, but didn’t”;
- “I dreamed of meeting with friends, but didn’t.”
In the meditation “Completing the Unfinished,” you yourself choose where you want to put a period and consciously do so (complete it), and where you simply remove the energy of incompleteness from a particular situation.
The Metaphor of the Open Palm
Do not hold on, do not cling, do not grasp.
Instead of clinging to and holding onto something in your life, open your palm and keep it open. When your palm is unclenched, you are open and ready for anything.
But to achieve such a state, you first need to cultivate an inner feeling that everything is appropriate and happens when it needs to.
Everything that happens is for the good, even if your mind does not understand why it is so.
It is no coincidence that in recent years, we have been actively and step by step cultivating within ourselves the readiness and ability to let go, as well as the understanding that everything is for the best.
Transition to an Expanded Perception
For most people, there is a colossal gap between understanding built on the 3D paradigm and mental constructs, and what is already unfolding on the subtle plane, anchoring, materializing, and manifesting in reality at the higher level of 4D and 5D.
We try to comprehend this new and higher reality with our brains and minds, where those very limiting 3D constructs are embedded and stitched in.
Our sensory organs are not yet ready to perceive the new. Our bodies, which were born within the parameters of the matrix, are physically not yet ready for an expanded perception that goes beyond 3D reality.
But in meditations, when you are on the frequency of harmony and balance, you can already see images not connected to the 3D world, or hear uncharacteristic sounds. Many people begin to experience a heightened sense of smell. Periodically, as if from nowhere, you may perceive pleasant aromas.
All such “glitches, bugs, malfunctions” are actually manifestations of your connection with higher spheres and levels. But you have not yet mentally caught up with this.
Right now, the process of readjustment, of allowing openness and readiness for a renewed and expanded perception, is in full swing.
Do not try to analyze (“can this be or not”). Learn to simply observe, read the space, and accept the new.

Recording your plans and insights as an aid in reconciling with your new self
As a rule, you do not write down/record all of your plans, desires, or ideas. Ideas that come to you can often leave if you do not write them down.
Different insights come at different vibrational frequencies. Therefore, it is important to write down what comes to you when you are at a higher frequency.
But writing it down does not mean you have done it or realized it.
Filter out what does not correspond to your current vibrational level, worldview, and outlook.
Writing down your plans and desires will make the process of reconciling with your new self easier and clearer for you.
