How to make life a celebration

Celebrating life means expressing gratitude for what is given. Gratitude is a great power; it aligns us with the flow of life and helps us see the good in everything that happens.

How to make life a celebration, why celebrate success and failure, you will learn from this material.

Why celebrate success

You set a goal for yourself, and the motivation to achieve it is very high. Over time, motivation decreases, and after achieving the goal, it fades into the background and becomes unimportant.

A new goal appears. You can run from one goal to another like this your whole life.

To feel inner strength, you need to acknowledge your achievements and solidify your self-belief.

By celebrating your success, you set yourself up for further success and believe in your abilities.

The importance of celebrating failure

When Thomas Edison invented the electric light bulb, he was asked: “How could you endure failure 1000 times? Did you want to give up?” To which he replied: “It wasn’t failure. It was 1000 steps toward inventing the light bulb.”

Understanding that your failures and mistakes are steps on the path to your desired result is very important.

Each time you examine a problem, understand it, and draw conclusions, you receive an invaluable lesson.

Celebrating the knowledge gained from problems and mistakes is just as important as celebrating your own successes.

How to make life a celebration

When something happens that brings you pleasure, you automatically anchor/root the joy from that process in your body.

Realizing that you are enjoying the process is the best celebration you can have.

Thank yourself for your successes and lessons, while also not harming yourself.

You can have a celebration every day. It doesn’t matter what you are doing; what matters is the state you are in while doing it.

Joyfully washing dishes is one of my favorite activities.

Celebrating big achievements is very important. You wanted it, you did it, so praise yourself. Allow yourself what you never allowed before.

Let go of all your tasks for a while and enjoy something special. Acknowledge your achievements and reward yourself for them.

Here are my suggestions for a simple and always accessible celebration:

  • jump for joy, spin around holding hands,
  • sit in the sun and warm yourself,
  • give/receive a massage,
  • walk in the forest,
  • grow plants in the garden,
  • watch people,
  • read something interesting,
  • draw,
  • make love,
  • pet animals and play with them,
  • hug,
  • sing.
