My dreams hit a barrier called money
And I can’t quite settle on a dream and intention: I want to open my own spiritual development center, and I want to travel the world without financial limits. And for that, I need a decent amount of money to get started.
So it turns out that my dreams hit a barrier called “money,” or more precisely, the lack of it.
At first, I answered briefly:
To take steps toward a spiritual center — you DON’T need money.
There are plenty of intermediate steps you can absolutely take WITHOUT any financial investment.
For example, become a leading expert yourself, find people you’d like to see as leaders, start your own blog and do spiritual work on it, gather like-minded people, and so on.
Right now, you’re focused on the LIMITATION, not on fulfilling your dream.
Reflect on the steps you can ALREADY bring to life.
Then I decided to record a video on this topic.
Global Dream = Big Investment?

Svetlana Savitskaya:
Here is my experience. I live in Germany. I work for a company that cares for the elderly. The salary is steady, but far from the highest. In general, it’s enough for a comfortable life and paying bills. It’s a bit too little to start my own business. And yet. At one point, when things got tough (5 years ago), I received an attunement to Reiki Level 1, surprisingly, as a gift.
I began to walk this path. I met amazing people online. I started communicating on websites dedicated to this topic and themes of spiritual development. I realized that Reiki is incredible, but still, it’s just a tool. It needs, as they say, a “talking head.”
And I decided to become that head. Thankfully, there is as much material on spirituality online as you could want. Books, audio materials, and videos. I read and watched voraciously and thanked those who posted these materials online. Within two years, I received the Master-Teacher level in Reiki, which gave me the ability to give attunements myself. Moreover, my spiritual development progressed just as rapidly.
The first students and clients appeared. I worked from home. This provided a very small, but still additional, income. Then, more and more. I registered a small business, which cost me 30 euros. I continued working from home, but now legally. I met an amazing person with whom I began conducting seminars, again at my home.
In parallel, I opened a website, which also started bringing in a small income. The website costs me around 40 euros a year. I pay to keep ads off the site. The site’s ranking is slowly growing, even though I don’t spend a cent on advertising it.
A year and a half ago, the idea came to open a Center for Spiritual and Physical Rebirth here in Kassel. And we came up with a name for it. House of the Sun. (This was after watching the film “House of the Sun.” I highly recommend it if you haven’t seen it.)
Three months ago, we opened the center. I tried twice to get a loan for this venture. They didn’t give it to me. And we decided that such a good cause shouldn’t start with a loan. See here how it all turned out.
We did almost everything with our own hands. We brought things from our homes, whatever anyone had. We put together a stand with singing bowls, bells, and so on, the likes of which I don’t know if anyone else in the area has. This is for sound massage. The carpets – we got them for free from the dumpster behind a carpet store.
Almost all our loved ones participated in the decorating. Everyone helped however they could. Some sewed, some checked the electrical wiring, some handled the business cards and flyers. And so on.
But the whole point is that our center turned out to be in demand, because people are awakening, and they have nowhere to go. Especially Russian speakers. And we have coaching, Reiki, meditations, seminars, Qigong, massages, and much more for all ages and levels of development. And there are only two of us.
Of course, it’s too early to talk about big profits, but… we work every day. At the same time, you have to consider that we work half the day at our regular jobs, which are still our safety net, and we can only work at the center for a few hours in the evening.
And it all started for me with an intention and a huge desire to change my life. When that became visible, that’s when people started coming with questions, “How do you do it?”
So what I want to say is: Start small. The big things will come. Tested and proven!
