The summer solstice marks a point of transition from being to doing, when the accumulated energies of winter and spring reach their peak, meaning that northerners fully exit the phase of receiving and gathering (feminine principle/yin) and enter the phase of activation and refinement (masculine principle/yang), which spans the summer and autumn months in preparation for the harvest.
“The summer solstice is a gateway into the manifested realms, as it opens the door, allowing the energies accumulated over the previous 6 months to enter the physical world through our lower energy centers. When this portal opens within us, it releases onto the earth all the information and ideas we have gathered, processed, and integrated, in order to now structure them into something useful on the earthly level.”
Meditation “Transition to a New Version of Yourself”
Purpose of the meditation: To release inner obstacles, move beyond old patterns and inertia, fill yourself with the energy of summer, and manifest your true power.
During the meditation, we move all the energy accumulated over the past six months through the body, pass through the portal of a new cycle, feel how our field changes, and fill ourselves with drive, inner freedom, and inspiration to move forward.
Main steps of the meditation:
- Shift from your mind to bodily sensations
- Breathe through your heart, give thanks, forgive, let go, receive
- Densify your energy field, visualize your life as a sphere
- Pass through the “portal” (imaginatively) — a new cycle, feel where you get stuck, what hinders you
- Request support from your Higher Self, open up to feelings of strength, wings, fullness
- Return to your body, direct the energy through yourself into the earth
- Record your sensations, acknowledge the changes
Half-Year Retrospective
- Take stock: what significant things happened from the winter solstice to summer?
- What conclusions and insights have you gained?
- What didn’t you manage to realize and why? Where did inertia or fears come into play?
- What ideas came to you during this time? Which of them require expression right now?
- Where do you habitually remain passive? Where are you ready to step in more brightly?
Tip: Set aside 10–15 minutes to write down your answers to these questions right after the practice.
The summer solstice is a powerful start for a new cycle. Allow yourself to open up, truly engage with life, and feel the power of the flow! May this summer be a time of freedom, creativity, and genuine inner movement.
