Personal growth is usually step-by-step. One moment you’re moving forward and the cheerful wind of reality gently caresses your cheeks, and the next you suddenly realize you’ve fallen into a stagnation with no hope of moving anywhere.

Three Levels of Personality
A person’s personality can be viewed from the perspective of the following elements:
- Mental — the mind and its mental constructs — thoughts, ideas, etc.
- Vital — a person’s emotions, their feelings and sensations.
- Physical body — the material foundation of the personality.
How the Method That Helps You Start Moving Forward Works
The principle of the method is that a particular problem currently facing a person is examined from the perspective of each level of the personality.
Ask the question describing your problem to the mental, the vital, and the physical body, and try to understand what these parts are telling you.
See if there is any resistance or if the energy at that level flows freely. Let’s look at a specific example.
A woman has long wanted to change her current job but just can’t bring herself to start looking for a new one. Her current job is low-paying, uninteresting, and her manager doesn’t appreciate her experience and knowledge.
Discomfort builds up, depression looms on the horizon, debts grow, but concrete steps to change jobs are still not taken.
What is the reason for the stagnation? The reason, as we see, is internal. To understand yourself, to realize why, despite all the desire, things are stuck, to start moving forward, you need some kind of starting point.

The Mental Level
The mental operates with facts. Let’s give it that opportunity:
- many years of work experience;
- a field of activity that is in demand;
- a high level of qualification, knowledge of several foreign languages.
We see that from the mental’s point of view, there is nothing holding back the solution to the problem of finding a new job. Moreover, the mental knows perfectly well what needs to be done:
- update your resume;
- post your resume on job search websites;
- tell acquaintances that you are looking for a job, either in person or through social media;
other steps aimed at disseminating information about your job search.

The Emotional Level
The vital engages feelings and sensations. Let’s suggest the idea of finding a new job to it.
Here you need to listen to yourself and realize what your feelings are telling you. You imagine yourself already in a new job; what feelings do you experience in connection with this?
The woman in our example joyfully anticipates a new and interesting experience, meeting new people, happily spends her imagined new high salary in her dreams, and feels that life is taking care of her.
We see that at this level there is no resistance, the energy flows freely.

The Physical Level
To make it easier to understand your body’s response, listen to your heartbeat for a few minutes, imagine how the inhaled air distributes throughout your body, how blood flows in your vessels.
Once you are attuned, you can ask your body the same question — finding a new job.
In the example under consideration, the woman, after asking her body the question about a new job, felt heaviness, a sharp reluctance to move anywhere, and fatigue.
The mental body immediately supported this (remember, the mind is a universal tool for analysis):
- What if it’s on the other side of the city? I’ll have to get up earlier and commute longer.
- What if the boss won’t let me leave early when needed?
The vital body chimed in: “And I’ll have to ‘rub along’ with a new team, I’ll feel insecure, I’m not ready to leave my comfort zone.”
So, we see that the root of the problem lies at the physical level.
It is the body that is not giving energy, it is the body that demands attention. What to do in such a situation?
Solving the Problem
In the example, the problem should be solved at the body level.
The body needs rest. Arrange your daily schedule so that you have the opportunity to get enough sleep (at least a few days a week).
Go for a massage, allow your body to relax, let it feel that it is being cared for.
If you can’t go anywhere, do a self-massage of your feet (to start, 1-2 times a week, ideally every evening). The feet are the body’s connection to the earth.
When you pay attention to your feet, it is a signal to the universe that the person is ready to walk through life with joy, ready to exchange energy with space.
Simply take care of yourself, allow yourself to restore your resources.

When you have paid attention to your physical body, cared for it with love, the body will give you feedback with improved well-being and a surge of energy.
You can return to the problem of finding a job.
Ask your body the question again and listen to what it tells you.
When you feel there is no resistance to movement, you can look at the “support of the mental and vital” from a different perspective:
“Of course, a new job could be farther from home. But it could just as easily be closer.
Anything is possible in the space of possibilities. And why should a new boss be worse than the old one? After all, I am moving and developing, so the people around me are changing too.”
Let’s talk to the vital in the same way:
“A new team means new emotions, new acquaintances, new opportunities for mutual exchange of experience, knowledge, and pleasant emotions.”
In this example, the starting point was the physical body. However, your problem may “live” on any of the three levels.
If you understand that your mental body is limiting you, “rock” it, offer options. Thought is material. What you declare to the universe is what it will answer you with.
If your feelings resist, you feel fear, helplessness, work with this level of your personality. There are many methods; you can work with the lower chakras (they are responsible for feelings of confidence and support from the universe).
