Self-employment from the perspective of energy and spirituality. 5 points you need to consider.

There are people who realize that their current job no longer brings them joy or satisfaction, and perhaps never did. But there are activities that bring joy, a cause to which one wants to devote all their time.

If you recognize yourself, this article will be of interest to you, as well as to those who already work for themselves and do what they love.

Let’s consider the issues of self-employment from the perspective of energy and spirituality:

  • how to sell your services,
  • in what cases clients run away,
  • what to give for free, and when to charge money for your work.

How to combine work with your calling

Salaried employment — security — is a misconception. Let them pay little, let it be disliked, but a person clings to it with all their might.

But until you are left without a job, without this false security system, you will not be able to fully invest in your own cause.

Usually, job loss is preceded by signals, hints. But when a person clings to this past and holds on, then they receive a grand “kick in the pants” from the universe.

This happens if you have overstayed your welcome. It is much easier for those who decide to dive in headfirst on their own. You need to have self-confidence, understanding, trust in the universe, and overcome your fears.

The tipping point is different for everyone.

It is impossible to sit on two chairs; at some point, you will have to make a choice.

When you go into free fall, you will face the question of value and uniqueness, no matter what field you choose.

Fear of starting your own business

If you think you are afraid to start your own business, then most likely it is not fear, but rather a lack of knowledge about yourself, your uniqueness.

When you move from job to job, you have to reveal your value and uniqueness each time. What is inside, you broadcast outward. When you work for yourself, if you sit in fear, it instantly manifests and reflects on your business.

Constantly broadcast that you are thrilled with yourself as a professional and with what you do. When you believe this from within, you speak about your work with burning eyes, you enjoy it, and the right people and clients are drawn to you.

14 Signs That You Are Running a Business in Alignment with Your Purpose

What is the difference between working for yourself and running a business

I resisted for a long time being called a business lady and did not want to hire employees for a long time.

Working for yourself is when you work alone and spend everything you earn yourself. All expenses are your expenses.

The next stage is when you can no longer handle the number of people signing up for courses, and you hire assistants. When there is one assistant, you tolerate them somehow, but when there are several assistants and you are the one earning the money… That was a challenge.

2013. Alena goes on air, Alena writes articles, Alena invites people to courses, and Alena leads them.

That is, everything that brings money is handled by Alena, while expenses increase — assistant salaries. This responsibility clung to me, I could not relax, and there was no opportunity to take a pause. It turned from “I want” into “I must.”

One day I heard a phrase: a business is when you remove yourself from the process, and it continues to work. Everything else is self-employment.

Undoubtedly, a business operates more efficiently in your presence, because it is your idea, but if you are away for some time, nothing falls apart.

You can scale and grow your business when you are internally ready for it. This involves structuring business processes and delegating tasks to other people.

If you cannot remove yourself from the workflow, it does not matter how many employees you have — it is self-employment, just in an expanded form.

Working for yourself from the perspective of energy and spirituality. 5 important points

1. Remove blocks regarding sales

We all come from the Soviet past, even if you were born after the collapse of the USSR, you were raised by parents who grew up in the Soviet Union.

Accordingly, many of you have blocks and limitations regarding sales, when sellers were called speculators:

  • it is shameful to sell,
  • I do not want to be pushy,
  • I do not think I am worth that much money,
  • I have impostor syndrome.

Until you start selling your services or products, no one will buy them.

How tempting it is to just write a post so that people read it and buy. It does not happen on its own. No matter how advanced we are in terms of spirituality, effort must be made, and a sales chain must be built.

If you have blocks regarding business, they will affect everyone (assistants, employees, buyers, clients).

Even if you hire a person, a sales manager, as long as you have a block in sales, they will not perform as well as they would if you had worked through that block in yourself.

Just go and do it, even if you don’t feel like it (run sales webinars, for example), until you overcome this block. No one will do it for you.

2. Use spiritual practices to attract clients

Sometimes you want to make everyone your client, but the main rule of an entrepreneur is to clearly know your audience. The ideal client is the one you want to work with.

People use all sorts of spiritual practices. But not everyone knows that they can also be used to attract clients.

When I left school as an English teacher, I didn’t know what I wanted to be. Tutoring in English helped me out.

I had to travel to students, and it wasn’t always convenient to bring my child; I needed a nanny. And then Svetlana Dobrovolskaya said something that reset me: “Who’s stopping you from charging more for your services so you can afford to pay for a nanny?”

It wasn’t just about the money barrier, but also about uniqueness. How are my services different from everyone else’s? Why should people pay you more money if a similar service can be obtained cheaper?

I found a way to differentiate myself. I worked with preschoolers and hyperactive children who can’t sit still. I didn’t care if they sat at the table or jumped around.

I needed to attract such clients. This practice helped:

I imagined that waves of energy emanated from me, carrying the information that I am a unique specialist, working with new children, without pressure or control.

And there are parents with such children who want to find exactly this kind of specialist. They are already looking for me and don’t know that such a thing is possible. I am sending out these rays.

And it worked.

3. Keep yourself in a resourceful state, or why clients scatter

Not everyone is given the ability to work for themselves, to bear this burden of responsibility in terms of understanding how much it affects you.

As soon as fatigue appears inside, you feel exhausted, every cell inside screams: “I want to rest!”, all clients disappear.

No matter how much you force yourself, no matter how much you try to convince yourself with your mind, your body screams: “I want to rest!”. And since everything you do is tied to you — you work for yourself — an instant effect occurs.

Take care of your resource. If you work for yourself, keep yourself in a resourceful state so you can radiate in all directions. This is a must do.

The difference between working for yourself and working for someone else, when you are employed, is that if you need rest, if you have no resource, you get sick.

An entrepreneur’s limitations strongly affect income. When you are employed, they are not as noticeable, but here there is a direct correlation: you decide to relax — clients disappear, you plunge into fear — they also disappear.

For working for yourself, from an energetic standpoint, your level of self-mastery must be many times higher.

Clients who complain and are dissatisfied with everything can also drain your energy. Weed them out by raising prices.

4. Be able to see the benefit from the money you have earned

If you work for yourself to bring in money, learn to see the benefit from it. Write down in advance what you will buy with it.

When you desire something very strongly, and you get the money for it, what do you spend it on?

Usually, if a person is on a limited budget, they spend what they earn on the bare necessities, on plugging holes. But not on the dream they wished for. For example, on bathroom renovations instead of a trip.

And then the meaning of that earned money is lost.

Therefore, so that money from working for yourself flows in, be sure to come up with a goal — what you will spend this money on. What will bring you pleasure. Not all the money, but a part of it.

So that the mind understands that you didn’t work in vain, that pleasure lies behind this work. As soon as the income happens, be sure to treat yourself to something. Because you invested effort, got creative, worked hard.

The mind needs to see the result.

Treat exactly yourself, not your husband, not your child. If your conscience torments you that you are depriving your child, that is a poverty mindset, which includes the notion that there won’t be enough for everyone.

Working for yourself with such a psychology is useless; the result will be minimal. An entrepreneur becomes someone who expands the boundaries of what is possible and moves in that direction.

5. Create a balance between paid and free services

Many people look at trainers and coaches and think that they earn money easily, and that they too will now start running courses and earning.

I started with free work, was a volunteer for 5 years. For a year I translated materials from other channels for free, ran newsletters, interacted to gather people for seminars.

First, you give a lot, and then it comes back to you.

It also happens that you work for free for a long time (healers, for example), and then when you start charging money, all clients disappear. Moreover, they come with a complaint: why was it free before, and now I have to pay.

If you do something, it must be internally structured so that you help for free, not because you are afraid to take money, but because you yourself choose what you do for free and what you do for a fee.

Do it for free from a state of abundance.

Someone creates toys, someone paints pictures and gives them away because they are ashamed to sell them. But inside, there must be the thought that eventually you will be able to sell them. Mentally prepare yourself that you will charge money for it.
