For several years now, the process of transferring the dominant role from the mind to the heart has been ongoing, a switching from the lower mind to the higher mind.
We are used to living, making decisions based on logic and past experience.
But now the mind is giving up its position, regardless of our desire or belief in this process.
And we are moving to the point where all our decisions and the actions following them will be dictated by the heart.
But often the mind and ego interfere, scaring us with “horror stories,” showing pictures of how everything could turn out. And this resistance and these fears create many difficulties and prevent us from seeing our path.
In this article, I will tell you how to switch from the mind and ego to the heart.
When you don’t know which decision to make, having mentally gone through all possible options, and nothing worthwhile comes to mind, you remember that you need to trust yourself, to feel where and under what conditions you will be better off.
The heart always knows the right decision, through the heart your soul and higher aspects speak to you.
But often people listen to it last, rejecting the solutions it offers, and moreover, simple and obvious ones.
Often the heart offers what is difficult to decide on, what will require leaving a familiar state or conditions.
But this is necessary. And in reality, everything would be so much simpler if we immediately listened to the heart and acted…

You will stop tormenting yourself with doubts, stop regretting mistakes you’ve made or fearing to make new ones.
Because the understanding comes that any of your decisions will lead you to the right path.
Why it’s important to “think” with the heart
Here is what spiritual sources say about this:
“It is now extremely necessary to think with the heart, because only our hearts possess the necessary intelligence for optimal operation in the new conditions, with the speed, accuracy, and frequency required to function in 5D, on New Earth.
Our mental faculties are now completely governed by the intelligence of the heart, which means we will be capable of much less if we use only thinking, uninspired by the heart’s desires.
To receive support from the current energies, any action, everything we think and do, must come from LOVE (and not from fear). Thinking only with the head now is like shooting blanks, while thinking with the heart gives a direct hit on the target.
When we harmonize in the flow of life with what feels right for us, with what calls us, with what we are or what we want to be, then we receive the support of the cosmos in accomplishing many of our tasks effortlessly, with ‘brilliance,’ and in the shortest possible time.
Similarly, if we resist the flow and try to oppose our own will to the Divine will, such as by setting a ‘deadline,’ we destroy the magic and create unnecessary suffering.
A large part of the world continues to act from the HEAD, regardless of LOVE and devoid of LOVE, SPIRIT, and UNITY.
But for those who think with their heart and allow feelings to enliven their perceptions and nourish their choices, miracles are truly possible.»

How to Switch from the Mind to the Heart
A complete switch from the mind, the ego, to the heart is a process, not a snap where you can instantly transition from one state to another and stay there. How simple it would be if it were that way!
To fully hand over the reins to the heart, you need to free yourself from your fears, let go of the past.
Some actions will help you spend more time in a conscious state, and therefore attuned to thinking with the heart.
1. Reduce the times when you do things on autopilot
When autopilot kicks in, mindfulness turns off.
In the past, this was even considered an advantage, when many actions performed repeatedly became automatic.
But if you want more awareness, to understand yourself better, to be more harmonious, perform as many actions as possible consciously. Focus on what you are doing.
This is a kind of dynamic meditation, a slowing down, shifting the mind’s work from beta to alpha frequencies.
Not to mention those actions that require preliminary decisions. Play the long game, in other words, think about what consequences your decision will have.
Are you doing this for the highest good? What does your heart tell you? Are there discrepancies with what the mind dictates?
Focus on the inner expansion, warmth that spreads inside.
Read about what it means to listen to yourself and what happens when you only listen to the mind.
2. Fill your inner vessel
Make sure your inner vessel is full.
Identify for yourself the signs that show when you are in a non-resourceful state, and take action as needed.
Allow yourself physical and emotional rest.

3. Enjoy simple things
Look around for things that can bring you joy:
- visually: sunrise, sunset, silvery glints of sun on the water,
- tactilely: a warm blanket, hot tea, hugs.
Engage all your senses, because that’s why we live on this planet — to feel: pleasant music, the sound of water, waves, the pleasure of a book you’ve read, creativity in various forms, quality communication.
Find what is pleasant for you in different forms.

4. Use practices that help you focus on the heart
Any practices using the Keys of Mastery help expand your consciousness.
When your consciousness is expanded, you are able to perceive a large number of opportunities that would be unavailable to you in your normal state.
Your heart is open, and accordingly, you are in direct connection with your higher aspects.
