Spiritual Mecca — Mount Shasta

Transformational Journeys Part 3

I continue sharing my impressions from a recent trip to America…

I already wrote about how we managed to get to California, and told what was the initial impulse that pushed us toward an intercontinental journey.

You can read about it here:

Part 1. On the Way to California

Part 2. Why California? Why San Diego?

But the main goal of our journey was Mount Shasta, located in the far north of California.

For those who are not in the know, here is an excerpt from the book that started my “career” as a metaphysical translator:

“Mount Shasta is the most majestic mountain, anchoring the northern end of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. Mount Shasta is the cone of an extinct volcano and the largest volcanic peak on the continent of the United States.

Mount Shasta is a mystical source of power for this planet. It is a center for angels, spiritual guides, spaceships, and teachers from the Kingdom of Light. Mount Shasta represents the entry point of this planet’s Light Grids.

It is the place where most energies arrive from the galaxy and the heart of the universe before being distributed among other mountains and the rest of the grid. It is also home to the survivors of Ancient Lemuria.

Before the flooding of their continent, and with full knowledge of the inevitable fate of their beloved land, the ancient Lemurians, using their mastery of energy, crystals, sound, and vibrations, carved out a huge underground city with the intention of preserving their culture, their treasures, and their records of ancient Earth’s history.

Above Mount Shasta is a vast etheric city, the City of Light, called the “Crystal City of the Seven Rays.” Sometime in the near future — hopefully within the next 12 to 20 years — this magnificent City of Light is destined to descend into our physical realm and become the first City of Light to be tangibly manifested on the surface of this planet.

For this to happen, the people living here must be equal to this vibration in their consciousness.”

From the book “Telos I: Revelations of the New Lemuria”

Well, being in California, we simply couldn’t miss visiting Shasta!

It turned out that getting to Shasta, even while in California, is not so easy.

From San Diego to the mountain is over fifteen hundred kilometers…

There are only two options: either rent a car and drive mostly in the dark on mountain roads (it gets dark here in autumn as early as 4 PM), or take the local train, which crawls at a snail’s pace.

We chose the second option because Maris didn’t want to sit behind the wheel for more than a day.

As a result, at 6 AM we boarded the local variant of double-decker electric trains, the Pacific Surfliner, at the Santa Fe station in San Diego, and after 2 hours and 40 minutes we were already at the station in Los Angeles.

Literally an hour later, we were on the Coast Starlight train, traveling from Los Angeles, California, to Seattle, Washington.

To our destination — the small town of Dunsmuir — it’s about a 20-hour ride. And from there, we had to get to Mount Shasta, the name of the town at the foot of the mountain.

But we didn’t look that far ahead at that moment… Being in the here and now means enjoying every moment of life. And that’s exactly what we did!

A small travel sketch

On the way to Shasta

This is how we saw Mount Shasta:

Marisa’s wild excitement: Hooray, we made it?!

The residents of the town of Mount Shasta enjoy such beauty every day

When our friend and colleague from Riga, Tatiana Fomicheva, found out where we were going, she shared a long-standing idea of hers: to connect the crystal grid they had built over the past few years in Latvia with the portal on Mount Shasta, and asked us to bring her a crystal charged with Shasta’s energy.

A crystal it is. So, item #1 on our plan was to find suitable crystals, and luckily there were several such shops in the town.

Plus, we brought our own crystals from home to recharge.

The next step was to get closer to Shasta, find a suitable spot, and perform a ceremony to activate the crystals.

See what came of it in this video clip:

Spiritual Mecca — Mount Shasta

We left our guide Kerry at the mountain stream and went higher ourselves. There was only one thought in our heads: We need to conduct a meditation! And record it!

Since we were so “lucky” with the weather — warm and sunny…

{By the way, the next day the weather changed dramatically and snow fell in the mountains. We continued exploring the Shasta area, but there was no longer an opportunity to photograph it — it disappeared from sight under a cover of snow clouds.}

Meditation for Connecting with the Energies of Shasta

Thank you, Shasta, for all the gifts you have bestowed upon us!

We will definitely return here. But in a warmer season, to get closer to the summit, and maybe even spend the night on its slope.

I would appreciate your feedback in the comments!
