When a person has open access to their source of personal power, many things in life come easily.
You experience joy in life and charge everyone who enters your vibrational field with your energy.
But if the source of inner strength is blocked, everything seems gray and dull, and mundane daily tasks feel like yet another obstacle.
There is no simple childlike feeling of joy and lightness. And yet, that is the secret to happiness.
Find out what factors block your power and how to reclaim it.
5 Factors That Block the Source of Personal Power
1. Not Knowing Your Own Desires
When a person doesn’t know what they want, they are easily controlled by public opinion, advertising, and television. This is how their desires are formed—desires that are not truly their own.
As long as these desires more or less align with what their soul wants, they don’t feel unhappy. But an inner dissatisfaction still lingers.
Everything seems fine on the surface, but it feels like something is missing.
Why do people live by others’ desires and how to identify your own—the real ones—read in the article 3 Signs That Will Help You Identify a True Desire.
When you neglect your own interests for the sake of others, or for any other reason, you are not following your own path.
But you were born to live YOUR life and unlock YOUR full potential. By not doing this, you are postponing your life for later and missing the chance to see what you are truly capable of.
It’s unlikely that anyone from our regular audience treats their life this way. Simply reading our materials already makes you think about how you are living.
However, the possibility that you still have “blind spots” in some area of your life still exists.
Find that area—maybe it’s relationships where you push your own interests to the back burner, or you just can’t find time for hobbies and passions, like finally starting salsa, belly dancing, or taking a painting masterclass.
Ask yourself: where are you shortchanging yourself? Why are you putting off fulfilling your desires?
Find out what signs define the concept of true power.
Your power lies in the determination to assert yourself, to allow yourself to do what you want, even if it has no practical purpose. But this is the path to knowing yourself.
At the transformation seminar “Dance with the Shadow 3.0,” you will remember what you loved to do as a child, what activities brought you joy. This will help you get to know yourself better and bring back that childlike feeling of joy.
2. Not Accepting Yourself
This is another factor that blocks access to the source of personal power. While you are busy searching for your flaws, life is passing you by.
Stop. Put an end to this issue: you are ALREADY good enough, with all the little quirks in your head. You can’t get rid of all of them anyway.
I know from personal experience that no matter how many flaws you eliminate, it’s never enough, and self-love still won’t appear. Because your attention is focused on the wrong thing.
So accept yourself as you are, and relax.
Download the booklet “How to Learn to Accept.” In it, we offer 6 ways to help you accept yourself.
You think your flaws are your weakness? Not at all. You’re just looking at them from the wrong angle.
Every flaw, whether in appearance or character trait, has a flip side. Try to find the opposite edge and develop it.

3. Tendency toward self-criticism
When a person blames themselves, scolds themselves for mistakes, they drain their own power.
Every mistake holds a lesson, and instead of berating yourself, think about what you can learn from this mistake. Often, it is precisely through mistakes that new opportunities and paths open up.
The tendency to blame yourself speaks of perfectionism — the desire to do everything perfectly. But there is no perfection in life. And if everyone did everything with an “A+,” then discoveries wouldn’t be made, and the world wouldn’t have seen so many talented and successful people.
Stop draining your power and destroying yourself with reproaches; channel this energy into development.

I admit, perfectionism is my illness, which for a long time wouldn’t let me live in peace. But relatively recently, I stepped onto the path of recovery and realized how much energy I was wasting on dissatisfaction with myself and pointless justifications for my mistakes.
And what a joy it is — not to make excuses, but to give myself the right to have these mistakes! And the funniest part is, no one even needed my excuses.
4. Envy and disbelief in your own talents
People tend to compare themselves to others. They admire or envy others’ talents, while not noticing their own.
Every person has strengths and unique qualities; you just need to make a little effort to see them.
Envy, or its other positive side — admiration — is an indicator that a person has the resource to unlock the quality, character trait, or talent they admire or envy.
When I catch myself feeling these emotions, I try to find similar qualities within myself and direct my energy toward actions to unlock them. Sometimes this turns into a very exciting process.
We have a method that will help you awaken a dormant talent, gift, or skill within yourself.
5. Handing over initiative to other people
Have you ever had situations where you had to do something, but you were afraid and shifted that action onto another person?
As a rule, relief followed afterward. But think about it: was it always necessary to hand over the initiative to someone else in those situations?
You gave away your power, knowing deep down that you could have done it yourself, and even wanted to. But fear got in the way.
Fear and discomfort are a beacon that shows the direction for your development.
By shifting the resolution of an issue onto another person, you deprive yourself of power and slow down your growth.
Don’t give the initiative to others if you feel the potential within yourself. If you don’t try, you won’t know. Embrace your ideas, bring them to life, start being creative, and promote them.
