The algorithm for creating your own reality. The paintbrush metaphor by Jason Estis.

The entire Keys of Mastery project is dedicated to reclaiming your power, realizing that you are creators who build your own reality.

In articles and broadcasts, we show and highlight this in various ways. In this article, we offer a metaphor with a paintbrush, shared by Jason Estes. It will help you understand how you create your reality and in which moments you give your power away to others.

The Paintbrush Metaphor

Jason Estes called this metaphor a simulation of reality.

Everyone holds a paintbrush in their hand. You have always had it; you were born with it. Before you is a canvas. You can paint anything you want on it.

The canvas is your life, your life path; the paintbrush is your inner power, your ability to create reality.

It would seem simple — take paints and paint. But what do people do? Many give their energy to others so they can paint for them.

But the brush is yours, and only you know yourself; only you can paint what suits you. No matter what another person paints, no matter how masterfully they do it, it is not about you — it is their projection, a picture of their beliefs.

No matter how much you try to describe with words or energetically convey what you would like to depict, you can only do it yourself. No one but you knows how to paint.

No one but you knows how to paint what suits you.

You handed the brush to another; they paint some masterpieces, but you do not like it, you complain that they painted it wrong. Yet you do not take your brush back.

This continues until it dawns on you: “I can paint better,” and you take the brush back for yourself.

Algorithm for Creating Your Own Reality

The simplest algorithm for drawing your own reality consists of three steps:

  • step 1 — realize that you have a brush,
  • step 2 — if the brush is not with you, understand that you gave it to someone else,
  • step 3 — take the brush back and start drawing.

It’s simple. But many will have a bunch of questions here: “what if I don’t know how to draw?”, “what if I don’t know what to draw?”, “I can’t draw” and so on.

If these or similar questions appear in your head, it means your brush is with someone else. Realize that you gave it away.

The main thing is to draw, and it doesn’t matter what you draw, it doesn’t matter how you draw it. But someone stands still, someone hands their brush back to someone else. And this manifests in the form of various suggestions, complaints: “how about you create a social network, we’ll communicate in it” or “when will order be restored in the education system?”

I have a counter-question — who will do it? Isn’t this topic bothering you? If it bothers you so much, take it and do it.

Acknowledge Your Power and Limitlessness

You have two options: either you admit that another person will not draw the way you need, and you suffer, or you take the brush for yourself, draw your masterpieces, as best you can, crooked, ugly, but your own.

If you give your brush (power) to someone else, it means you are admitting your own worthlessness, powerlessness: “I can’t even draw this, let them create my reality for me.” This is a conscious choice.

One who dislikes having their life controlled by someone else tries to take this brush and draw, however crookedly or clumsily.

You can be whoever you choose to be today within the boundless experience of the soul. You have billions of years ahead, enjoy yourself as you wish. But in the end, you will still come to claim your power.

The main blow will fall on those who have accumulated a lot of information and do not apply it. Their mental level is so inflated that it prevents them from going beyond. And they seem to be creating something, but on the mental level. However, this begins to manifest only when you have left your locked room, beyond the 3-D matrix.

And for this, you first need to acknowledge that I have a brush, in this case, to acknowledge that I am in delusions, that I do not know what I do not know.

Many people find this difficult because they are afraid of appearing stupid, of being in a foolish position, of allowing themselves to make mistakes.

But you can always repaint the picture, though the point is that this is perceived as a mistake, and this is again about duality.

And it is important to come to wholeness, to accept that you are both smart and stupid, beautiful and wrinkled, kind and evil. This is precisely the recognition of your power and boundlessness, that you are everything.

Fear of moving and expecting to receive guidance

People often wait for some kind of guidance, for someone to draw a roadmap for them, and they will follow it.

This will not happen. The more you dwell on this, the more time passes. Although you have every right to sit, it is your choice.

There will be no landmarks until you draw the map yourself. In the past, you could write an algorithm — do one, two, three, and happiness would be yours. Now everything is so individual for everyone that there are no universal recipes.

Acknowledge that you are the artist of your life

To take this brush or not to take it — that is a question of choice. Most people choose to sit and wait for a miracle.

Your power lies in acknowledging the fact that you are the artist who paints the tapestry of your life.

You drew it — you didn’t like it, you can redraw it without any “how” or “what if” in your head. But if someone else drew it, you can’t do anything about it.

Why do we talk so much about adulthood, responsibility, maturity, wisdom? Because it is the starting point.

As in the saying, “I gave birth to you, I will destroy you,” so it is here — I created such a life for myself, and I will rewrite and redraw it. I, not someone else. And this is not just words, it is an inner feeling.

Go through the meditation Creation of the Highest Reality. The highest manifestation of YOURSELF, which will help you see the limitations that prevent you from being in your highest reality.

Is your brush in your hands? Who is drawing your reality?
