The “Inner Light” method for achieving harmony with yourself and others.

Humanity in this current period of history is experiencing a flourishing of the cult of consumption.

From early childhood, every person realizes the importance of work and social contacts for achieving success in one or another type of activity.

People and events rush past you rapidly, and the information flow passing through your consciousness daily creates a desire to get all necessary things done, to be in a thousand places at once, and to get as many impressions as possible per unit of time.

This is neither good nor bad. It is a given reality in which each of you lives. And many people, one way or another, adapt to the race of time, planning work, rest, and entertainment within strictly allotted periods.

It often happens that behind the external bustle and pursuit of success, you forget about the need to converse with yourself, to listen to the spiritual heart, and to determine for yourself the goals and tasks of your life, as well as the degree of their fulfillment.

The absence of conscious contact with the true Self, with the inner spiritual light, leads to a decrease in the intensity of the energy flow of the divine potential that is given to you for embodiment.

In this case, your Higher Self leaves a minimal degree of openness in the spiritual channel connecting your mind with divine wisdom, which holds the experience of hundreds of incarnations in many worlds and spaces.

If the conductivity of the spiritual channel is minimal, you hear your intuition poorly and begin to doubt your goals. You are increasingly visited by thoughts of being unable to achieve something, and you are overcome by the fear of making a mistake and appearing imperfect in the eyes of others, and especially in your own eyes.

If a person ignores this state, they provoke the emergence of anxiety, fears, self-doubt, and other types of chronic suppressed stress, which seriously reduce the quality of life and can potentially lead to depression, addictive behavior, conflicts in personal life, and even mental and physical illnesses that modern medicine would be powerless against.

The method I present in this article is not a panacea for the problems listed above. Rather, it is a prevention of negative thoughts and emotions that destroy the body, psyche, and health, and have a harmful influence on human civilization.

All you need is a personal desire to establish contact with your true Self, openness to new experiences, trust in yourself, and thirty minutes of personal time.

Before starting the exercise, determine a time and place for yourself. You can practice this method at any time, but it is important that you have the opportunity to spend thirty minutes alone with yourself in a quiet and calm place.

Research by neurophysiologists shows that any new action is remembered and reproduced 30% better if performed at the same time of day.

The place can be anywhere, the main thing is that it is quiet, evokes positive associations in you, and helps set a peaceful mood. It is important that you can remain alone in this place and position yourself so that you are as comfortable as possible.

If the opportunity for solitude during the day is absent, it is better to perform this practice in the evening, before bed, or in the morning, immediately after waking up.

Practice: Inner Light

The “Inner Light” meditation will help you achieve the following goals:

  • achieving harmony with yourself and others,
  • enhancing intuition,
  • getting rid of fears, anxieties, and self-doubt,
  • healing from depression,
  • receiving answers to your most important questions from the eternal source of divine wisdom — your Higher Self.

First Stage — Self-Observation

Take any posture that is comfortable for you. Close your eyes and begin to observe the process of your breathing, without trying to control it.

Mentally imagine that with each inhale, your body fills with new, bright energy, and with each exhale, tension leaves your muscles. Remember that your inner energy is governed by your thoughts. Count your inhalations and exhalations silently to yourself.

After 7 complete cycles of inhaling and exhaling, shift your attention to your inner world. Observe your thoughts, feelings, and emotions without any judgment, simply noting their presence.

Stop on the thought that is most interesting to you and ask yourself: “Why am I thinking about this specifically?” Answers will come to you; don’t fixate on them.

Imagine that your thoughts flow through your mind like a river, and you are watching it from the shore. As soon as you feel a sense of peace and a lack of desire to move physically, move on to the next stage.

Second Stage — Disidentification with the Physical Body

Mentally ask yourself the questions: “Who am I? Am I the body? Where am I located in the body?”

When you get the feeling that you are located in some area of the body, continue asking questions. “What shape am I? What color am I?”

A sign of a beginning meditative state is a clear sensation that you are not the physical body, but an object of any shape and color that is located inside the body and simultaneously observing its state.

When you feel this state, move on to the third stage.

Third Stage — Raising Spiritual Vibrations

Mentally say: “I ask my Higher Self to cleanse me of negative emotions, thoughts, and spiritual illusions. I ask my eternal source to let me feel and understand my own light.”

If during the practice you cannot remember these words, mentally address your Higher Self in your own words with a request for cleansing from negativity, achieving harmony, and raising spiritual vibrations.

Repeat these words silently to yourself, trying not to get distracted by extraneous thoughts. Believe that your Higher Self hears you, but do not expect an instant effect in the form of “thunder from the heavens.”

Release mental tension and physically relax. Accept any thoughts and sensations, let them pass through you. Continue to mentally call upon your Higher Self for contact for as long as you see fit.

If you have never practiced meditation before, I recommend repeating the request addressed to your Higher Self at least 20 times. For more experienced practitioners, a few times (based on feeling) is enough to tune into the contact.

If you feel that the meditation for this day should end, thank your Higher Self in your own words for its help and support on the path to the Light.

Then take five slow, deep breaths in and out, open your eyes, and carefully stand up. Immediately write down your sensations during the practice; this may be useful later.

Stage Four — Merging with the Higher Self

The transition from the third stage of the exercise to the fourth will happen automatically when you raise your vibrations to the required level.

A sign of merging with the Higher Self is a bright inner light, reminiscent of sunshine, in the area of the chest or the top of the head.

This light is not physical, but it is felt quite clearly and is accompanied by a surge of feelings of happiness and love. When you experience this state for the first time, you will never confuse it with anything else.

Once in contact with the Higher Self, mentally ask it any questions that are troubling you.

The first thought that comes to mind after the question is a true, spiritual message coming from your inner Sun of Spirit.

If you have additional questions for the Higher Self, ask them mentally.

When you feel it is time to end the contact, mentally say: “I give thanks and accept! I love and bless! I promise to direct this energy towards the development of unconditional love!”

If after this you feel a powerful wave of light energy passing through your body, take a slow, deep breath and imagine it evenly and calmly distributing into every cell of your body.

This is how the exchange of energies between you and the Higher Self occurs. The energy received from the spiritual world will allow you to live on Earth more consciously and happily and to move towards your goals while bypassing obstacles.

Take five slow, deep breaths in and out and open your eyes. Gently and carefully stand up and write down all your sensations from the meditation, as well as the answers you received from the Higher Self.

If you don’t feel anything yet, don’t abandon this meditative practice, because sometimes time is needed to tune your sensitivity to the spiritual world.

Continue to perform it every day, and the likelihood of successfully contacting the Higher Self will increase with each day.

The purer the spiritual heart is from negative thoughts and emotions, the sooner you will connect with the Higher Self and the better you will feel the contact with it.
