And today we’ll talk about why you don’t hear the messages from higher powers.
You call out to your higher self and spiritual guides, but you don’t get a response. Is that really the case? Or are you simply unable to recognize them?
Maybe the answers are there, but you’re waiting for them in some very specific form? For example, you want to literally hear or see the angels themselves, and you won’t settle for anything less.
After reading this article, you’ll understand that everything is much simpler than it seems, and this will help you establish a connection with your spiritual guides if you haven’t been able to before.
Let’s look at a few misconceptions about “communicating” with angels, possible reasons for the lack of feedback, and what it depends on.
Why You Don’t Hear the Messages from Higher Powers
1. Not Enough Faith in the Existence of Angels and Soul Guides
You kind of believe that the subtle world exists. But you still doubt that the answers you receive actually come from there, from your spiritual guides.
This happens at the initial stage of spiritual development, when you want to get proof and confirmation that the subtle plane and angels really exist.
But what you believe in is what happens. What you focus on is what grows stronger. If you hold your attention on disbelief and doubt, they only increase.
And when a soul answer arrives, your doubts win, and you convince yourself once again that there’s nothing on the other side of the veil.

2. A Misunderstanding of How Communication with Spiritual Guides and Angels Works
Many of those who don’t yet have experience communicating with spiritual guides hold the misconception that talking to an angel is literally like the conversations described in the Bible:
In the dead of night, a person is awakened by a blinding light, they wake up and see a divine being by their bed, guiding them onto the right path with an equally divine voice.

3. Overactive Mental Activity
You kind of know everything already, but there are so many thoughts and so much knowledge that you can’t pick out what’s true and suitable for a specific situation or decision from all this information.
Thoughts go in circles; you’re constantly thinking things over and analyzing. And if you’re also worrying and trying to control everything, then the voice of the soul or the messages from higher powers are hard to recognize. Or even impossible.

4. You’re Going Through the “Dark Night of the Soul”
If you have previously felt the support of higher powers, received answers, but now feel as if you are completely alone and no one is responding to your call, you may be experiencing what is called the «dark night of the soul».
During this period, your spiritual guides are changing. It usually lasts from a few days to a few weeks, and in special cases — several years (but this is extremely rare).
At this moment, there is no one beside you on the other side. This is because you have moved to a new level of spiritual development.
The previous guides who were with you taught you what your soul had planned, and have left you.
They will definitely be replaced by new spiritual teachers, of a different, higher level. But it is the very moment of transition from one to the other that must be lived through with dignity.

5. Unwillingness to hear messages from higher powers
Often people sabotage the angels’ response because deep down they are afraid to hear it.
Deep down they know it, but for some reason they do not do what they should, they put it off, or they wait for an answer from their guides that will suit them.
And they do not perceive anything else.
At this point in their life path, a person feels cozy and comfortable, even despite the troubles. They are not ready to change anything because they suspect it will take a lot of effort to take action.
In this case, it is not that the guides are inaudible, but that it is scary to admit that you will have to take action.
The guides, on the contrary, are actively trying to reach the person, giving hints, and then even nudges, until the person develops the resolve to honestly look at the situation.

All of these reasons prevent you from hearing the voice of your Higher Self and your spiritual guides. Now you know them and can determine why you do not feel a connection with them.
How to receive feedback and messages from higher powers
To turn your communication with higher powers into a close, unbreakable connection, I suggest using some tips that I’ve developed based on my own experience communicating with them.
- If you’ve asked a question to the higher powers, be attentive and relaxed at the same time so you don’t miss the answer. Don’t forget that you asked a question, but don’t go searching for it in every little thing. The answer will come at a moment the angels consider favorable.
- Set a timeframe within which you want to receive a message from the higher powers. The message will definitely arrive within the time you’ve allotted.
- Be consistent. Ask the angels one question, make sure the answer has come. Apply the knowledge you’ve received, and only then move on to the next topic.
- Maintain your vertical alignment, your inner harmony. This is an important condition. If you are in a state of failure, the connection with the higher powers gets blocked.
- Stay in the present moment, ground yourself, meditate. The more often you do this, the more likely you are to hear the voice of your soul.
- Trust the higher powers. If you’ve given them the right to resolve a situation, then try to let go of control. No one can handle it better than your guides, including you. You only see a part of the possible outcomes; your higher aspects see everything.
- Create yourself and be inspired by the creations of others. Find an activity you enjoy: drawing, music, singing, dancing, knitting. Let it be something that fills your soul. Creativity is a direct channel of communication with your soul.
Follow at least some, or better yet, all of these recommendations, and your connection with your higher aspects will definitely improve.
