9. Reading and Analyzing Spiritual Literature
Essence: to read and deeply contemplate classical and contemporary texts of a spiritual, philosophical, and psychological nature. Write down favorite thoughts and quotes, possibly make a summary.
There are standard forms of text analysis used in spiritual schools. Example:
- describe the era and conditions of the book’s creation, the author, the genre;
- divide it into stages of plot development or character growth;
- highlight pivotal situations and the qualities they reveal in the characters and readers;
- what moral does the book carry, what did it teach you personally.
In a similar way, you can analyze both epochal literary works (trust me, you’ll find many additional meanings there!) and philosophical-occult works – the writings of the Roerichs, Helena Blavatsky, Alice Bailey, Daniil Andreev, Rudolf Steiner, and others.
And, of course, the ultimate feat – the Bible. Reading and analyzing it is a life’s work…

10. Energy Practices
Essence: At this stage, you understand that the world and people consist of energy no less than matter. And that this energy has its own laws and forms. And, by learning them, energy can be managed for healing, cleansing negativity, and correcting destiny.
Knowledge about chakras and their activation, starting energy flows in the body, receiving healing through the laying on of hands (as a patient) – these are all examples of relatively simple practices.
They are available to each of us. But at the same time, if the mind is closed and limited, they won’t work, and for some, alas, they will remain a fantasy.
Benefits: Oh, their benefits are enormous, and it’s hard to overestimate them. It’s like you stopped treating the symptoms of an illness and finally grabbed hold of the root of the problem.
